Note - as you can see in the qs at the bottom of the page, i requested a pic of any inner creed patch, but the seller says there isnt one. They also refused to add additional photos, so I hope what they have provided is enough to dis/authenticate it.

I don't know what it is but it wasn't made by Coach.

Coach never made anything with Cs until the early 2000s. They never used a font like that for their Cs. The print, the styling, the hardware - none of these are things that Coach ever used. I've never seen a strap made out of signature fabric.

That bag isn't even fake. It's supposed to be designer inspired, but I think it's more inspired by Guess than Coach. Guess has a similar G pattern.

It appears authentic. If you need proof of authenticity, an authentication from tpf isn't enough. Authenticate4U authenticates Coach.

That's also NOT a Coach Carriage logo (which Coach didn't even start using on handbags until around 2007). The conveyance in the graphics isn't either a carriage or a coach, it looks more like a chaise, as anyone addicted to movies based on Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters could probably verify. But whatever it is, it's nothing like the Coach logo at all.

I'd like to make a comment, possibly before you've spent money on an authentication.

If you merely want to know whether an item in your possession is authentic or not, you can post your pictures here. If the item is an obvious fake, unless you're involved in a dispute and need a professional authentication, you'll have saved yourself $7.50.

If you're a seller and want to list it to give buyers reassurance, generally, a professional authentication isn't necessary unless it's a very high end item or brand.

If it makes you feel more comfortable to have a professional authentication, by all means do it.

(BTW, I didn't see a purse in your flicker album. It appears to have pictures of cars.)

please help this was in a box of old coach leathers at an estate sale and all the others
match up except this one. it even has a bullet mark near the creed

Not authenticating but wanted to say the serial isn't going to match up with anything. If yours is real it is probably from when they assigned random numbers. I have a couple of bags with serial numbers like this and the numbers are completely random.

frenchieRU is correct. The bag was made before 1994, when Coach used random serial numbers. It looks like a small Lindsay 9888 if it is about 9 x 8 3/4 x 2 1/2. Remember when posting bags with all-numeric creeds to post measurements.

Hello all-- another one for authentication please. This is one that I own and have rehabbed. Just checking to make sure it's authentic and also what the real style name is? I found numerous eBay listings (I know- not reliable) calling it a Waverly Tote but I found a previous post on this forum where Hyacinth has called it a Soho Buckle Bag. I put complete faith in Hyacinth and her knowledge but I'm wondering why so many others persist with an incorrect style name? Or are they somehow both correct? Thanks.
