That's interesting - it's the original style with the old number. Looks ok although the first digit in the style number is a bit wonky.

Many people don't care as I have spotted fakes at garage and estate sales and commented they were fake in front of others. Let them buy a couple fakes and have them fall apart in a couple months and they may learn

I know what you mean-I sometimes get a sideways look when I mention fakes. Like they're not sure if there really is such a thing, and if there are, does it really matter, since they're basically the same.

She was really excited and I truly appreciate when someone thinks of me. I'm still on the fence as to whether to even tell her. Maybe I should focus my search for a black stewardess, and fib a little. It's already on my wish list...

How fortunate are you? Plus he appreciates Coach and can spot a fake? My hubs wouldn't have the first idea!

Not that I know of unless you find one on Ebay with a style number or price tag. Keep an open search for "Coach bee (charm,keyring,keyfob)". Technically it's actually a purse charm rather than a Keychain. Coach also did several leather Bee keychains and at least one enameled one.

Thank you for the advice! I will try that. I'm familiar with several other styles of bee fobs that Coach has released, and I own a couple of them as well, but I had never seen this one before. I have a couple of fobs that I have been searching for for months, so I check eBay practically every day looking at new listings. Between eBay and this forum I thought I had seen just about every fob by now, but I guess I was wrong :)

All are authentic.

I do want to mention that although Linda*s***stuff (lindas stuff) has a liberal return policy, she has a history of listing fakes and inaccurately describing her items. I don't believe she knowingly tries to rip off buyers but she certainly doesn't authenticate items before listing them. And her descriptions and pictures don't always accurately depict the conditon of her items.

IMO, Linda is so big and busy that she isn't able to take the time to do what I think she should do to make sure her listings are legally compliant and accurate.

OTOH, you can often get good deals from her.
