I'm sorry, it's fake. BIN is a common invalid prefix for fakes. The font is too thick. It probably feels stiff because it isn't authentic.

OK one more for this evening. I am positive this one is fake. I think this is one of the style numbers that I read on here that is stamped on the fake ones a lot. Right?

Coach (NOT) Shoulder flap bag
I own
Creed Number: T8K-4914 stamp on a pebbled leather which is the same leather the bag is made from. I think style 4914 is Sonoma Double zip and this is definitely not that!!! And the "T" for a Month? Ha! Ha! You guys are teaching me so much.

Does anybody know if Coach used different types of leather on the inner parts of these older bags as I have seen this grainy appearance before on these classic styles?

That wouldn't surprise me. Sometimes really heavily textured leather shows up on the inside pockets of fakes too, but probably any heavily grained bits and pieces left from hides Coach used were used by them someplace where they wouldn't be so noticeable.

Yes, it's fake. And I can just barely make out the word "variations" in the creed which wouldn't have been used in a Sonoma bag.
