Hi,
Fake?? I'm not sure if this is where to ask, but I would like an eBay listing verified. It looks fake to me.

Listing # 251597607264
COACH MULTI- COLORED PRETTY HEARTS AND STARS KEY CHAIN SILVERTONE PINKS,BLUES,!!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/251597607264?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

seller: sarasspecial

TIA!

I believe that the keychain is authentic. It looks exactly as style 1628 is supposed to look.

Other opinions are welcome.

Thank you BeenBurned! I didn't see a Coach "hangtag" on the keyring and am not real familiar with the charms. Just wanted to make sure.
That style keychain doesn't have a lozenge on the key ring. It has the pink and blue ones on the chain links.

Comments: I believe this to be a United Airlines Stewardess, but I won't know until I get it in if it has the logo on the strap (I see "something" by the end of the strap in 5th picture). Any concerns? I know that the pictures are blurry, and I can post more pictures when it is received. Thanks!
I finally was able to get better pictures. Not sure if someone looked at it yet, since I didn't see a reply. Measurements: 8"h x 10"w x 4"d (at bottom), strap is 35" long.

It's a genuine Stewardess Bag, probably early to mid-1980s. The "something" near the end of the strap is the United Airlines symbol. It's an actual bag bought and used by the airline.

Wow! Gorgeous UA stewardess. I've been using my vintage stewardess for almost a month and LOVE it since it's just the perfect size to hold everything I need when I go run errands...or thrifting for more Coach bags to rehab!

It's authentic. It's a version of a skinny flight bag. The only one I have a style number for has shorter straps and a detachable shoulder strap (9706). I don't know if this version was made before or after that one, or if Coach gave it a different style number. I think I bought one like this in the late 70s; if my memory is correct then this one probably preceded the one with the detachable strap.

If you ever see one in another color, please let me know. I would really like to replace the one I had.
I think the style number from the seller is wrong. I zoomed in on the creed photo and I think the seller has assumed the last 4 digits are the style number but this bag is pre-1994.

I don't believe that either is fake. Based on the different prices, it looks like they may have been made at different times and along with a price increase, Coach did a change to the logo button too.

Good afternoon,

I purchased 4 Peyton Dream C Wristlets F50523 from 2 different sellers (gifts for quintuplets). When I received them I realized they weren't the same.
The emblem on one set had Coach New York the other set had Coach est. 1941. The price tags were also different, the barcode, style number and description are the same but the prices are different and the number below the description is also different.

Comments: The 2 from this seller are different than the picture in the listing, the tags on what I received only said coach (no carriage) and there is a number below the description.

I was hoping for input as to if one set (or both) were fake. Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Could this be an example of the difference between regular and MFF? The article posted by Hyacinth several days ago about MFF items states that Coach Factory items say "Coach Est. 1941" and regular full priced items say "Coach New York" and here the different prices would support that...?

It's possible, but I doubt it - there's no way to tell. AFAIK that style was made just for the Factory Stores. The two may have just been made at different times.

Coach can change tags, hardware, and pricing whenever they like. And there's really no such thing as an MSRP for a Factory Store item since the item was never sold or even meant to be sold at that price. So it doesn't matter what retail price is stamped on the tag, it's fictional anyway. The tag with the handwritten markdowns was probably sold at the Factory Store while the other one could have been from the Factory store or the Factory Online Sale, there's no way to tell.

I don't believe that's the difference in this case.

I believe that Hyacinth referred to were the tags on the items rather than the logos themselves that were being used.

Of listings I found where I could see the tag and the plaque, I found inconsistencies.

1. "Coach New York" on both the outside of the tag and "Coach New York" on the plaque, implying it to be a boutique item. Yet the tag has an F in front of the style number. It could have been retagged at outlet level:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Coach-S...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

2. "Coach est. 1941" on the tag, "Coach New York" on the plaque. According to the "theory," the tag indicates a MFF item however the wristlet itself indicates a boutique item
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-COACH-P...940?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item3a949ac454

3. "Coach New York" on the tag, "Coach est. 1941" on the plaque. (This is the opposite of #2.)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-PEYTO...657?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item27e84a5741

4. "Coach New York" on the plaque but it doesn't show the tag. However, I believe I can see a bullet dot on the inside plastic label, indicating it would be MFF:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-with-ta...3-/371110187423?pt=Wallet&hash=item5667e4119f

5. "Coach est. 1941" on the tag, "Coach est. 1941" on the plaque:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-PEYTO...421?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item4d2162ea45

As you can see, there are all types of permutations of the labeling on the tag and the logo/plaque on the item itself.

Yet again, this is another example of Coach's continued inconsistency.

Could you help to authenticate these bag. Thank you so much in advance.

They both seem ok but you might want to wait for more opinions on the first one, newer styles aren't my area of expertise.

The first one looks fine.
