The emblem on one set had Coach New York the other set had Coach est. 1941. The price tags were also different, the barcode, style number and description are the same but the prices are different and the number below the description is also different.

Comments: The 2 from this seller are different than the picture in the listing, the tags on what I received only said coach (no carriage) and there is a number below the description.

I was hoping for input as to if one set (or both) were fake. Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
Could this be an example of the difference between regular and MFF? The article posted by Hyacinth several days ago about MFF items states that Coach Factory items say "Coach Est. 1941" and regular full priced items say "Coach New York" and here the different prices would support that...?
I don't believe that's the difference in this case.
I believe that Hyacinth referred to were the tags on the items rather than the logos themselves that were being used.
Of listings I found where I could see the tag and the plaque, I found
inconsistencies.
1. "Coach New York" on both the outside of the tag and "Coach New York" on the plaque, implying it to be a boutique item. Yet the tag has an F in front of the style number. It could have been retagged at outlet level:

2. "Coach est. 1941" on the tag, "Coach New York" on the plaque. According to the "theory," the tag indicates a MFF item however the wristlet itself indicates a boutique item

3. "Coach New York" on the tag, "Coach est. 1941" on the plaque. (This is the opposite of #2.)

4. "Coach New York" on the plaque but it doesn't show the tag. However, I believe I can see a bullet dot on the inside plastic label, indicating it would be MFF:

5. "Coach est. 1941" on the tag, "Coach est. 1941" on the plaque:

As you can see, there are all types of permutations of the labeling on the tag and the logo/plaque on the item itself.
Yet again, this is another example of Coach's continued inconsistency.
