Comment: did Coach make purses in such a vibrant red shade back in the late 80's (judging by the serial number)?

I doubt very much if that's the actual color of the bag. Don't ever expect colors in listings to be accurate. And it seems genuine.

ETA - the color is probably going to look more like this picture, which lI think is the same style, and from the late 1980s. It's a lighter red but it's not the neon pinky-red showing in the seller's pictures.

That's odd. I thought I'd posted a response but when I went to edit it, it wasn't there.

That bag isn't authentic. I suggest returning it for a full refund. Demand a refund even if they claim that all purchases are final. The sale of fakes is illegal and they should never have sold that bag.

It looks ok to me.

A lot of things can affect how soft an older Coach's leather is including now much it was used and how it was cleaned and conditioned.

hi again! i'm thinking of buying a coach mini black pebbled borough bag off of bonanza -- the seller sent me the creed (as a coach/purse newbie, didn't realize how important this was!). any thoughts on the authenticity? the rest of the bag looks real but the "o" in "No" doesn't have an underscore?
