Hi, everyone, I have been on a buying bonanza and thought I had authenticated all of my purchases. I searched the thread and I didn't do this one. Already delivered and paid for, so I hope my impetuousness hasn't got me in trouble.

My comments: it's quite roomy, in pretty good condition the interior is in excellent condition. The strap is not adjustable; it doesn't appear to have been shortened so it can't be worn crossbody unless you want to look like a dork.

Can you tell me if it is authentic and if so, the name, color and age of it? I like it a lot and was mulling over giving it a bath or at least a good leather conditioning.

My comments: G06W-F10425. lining is wrinkly and stiff like it has been glued to something stiff between the lining layers. bottom leather is thick. creed looks okay to my untrained eyes.

It looks like a convertible clutch #9635 but that strap seems too short to be the original strap. I think it came with either a 36 inch or a 44 inch strap. It is from the late 70's, early 80's. It's hard to tell the color from the picture. It could be bone or putty.

Thanks for your response. I agree the strap is too short but at least it looks like it was shortened professionally. Oh well, I'm not exactly a giant but I do like the longer straps, I must have been thinking 26" drop, not length. Judging by the color of the interior I'd say you're right about the color. Thanks again.
