I purchased this but have not received it yet. I did a little research after the purchase. It suppose to be a Coach Hampton Patchwork purse. Everyone that I have seen on Ebay, Amazon and other sites have a silver id patch inside and the outside brown id patch looks different. Please help me figure out if this one is real. Thank You

Hi - Check these out please?
I don't think they are any good at all!
Original ebay listings are shown but my own pics are uploaded because the ones seller posted are worthless as far as authentication.
Please let me know what you think.
THanks in advance!!

Auction title - LOT OF 2 Coach Bags Used
Seller: nickant2
Auction No. 191018155892

The brown is obviously fake. The number is on the fakes list and has those fake overstamping marks. I've been seeing a lot of fakes of this style lately. I don't see anything wrong with the second one. It looks like it might be a Lightweights Shoulder Pouch. Is there something in particular about it that worries you (besides the silver zipper pull)?

I'm sorry, it's fake. The creed doesn't have a properly formatted number. The font on the outside patch looks wrong too.

Along with what's already been mentioned, there are other problems too. The patchwork pattern is close but not exact, there are stitching details that aren't right, and along with the totally fake serial number, both the inside patch and the lining are the wrong colors for bags in that style line - I own two of them and know them very well. The inside patch in the real ones isn't silver, BTW, it's off-white, and the lining should be a cocoa or taupe shade.

The front patch is really badly stamped and sewn and the stitching all over is wobbly and uneven. The hangtag is wrong too.

Contact the seller and demand a full refund, and do NOT buy from them again. If the seller refuses, contact your credit card company and have the charge removed. And please ask here BEFORE buying Coach bags, keychains or other items from online sites. Many of them are really havens for fakes sellers and have no buyer protection in place.

I did not like the way the fabric around the inside zipper looked & the uneven stitching on the tab pull.
Also, Is the creed supposed to say "Made in USA" or "Made in the USA" ?

Do you happen to have any photos of this style or know of any on ebay so I can compare?
Thanks whateve!

NEVER MIND!
I did a search on ebay with the info (name) you gave me and I was able to find two completed
listings, and I see that the details ARE the same. Thanks! two out of three is not too bad I guess,
now onto the seller.
CYA!

Better yet, my suggestion would be to not buy from that site again. The site does nothing to prevent the sale of fakes and in fact it goes against its own rules by allowing fakes to be listed and sold. They have "mods" who list disclaimers about not knowing the intricacies of authenticating designer items and leave it to the buyer to do research. Even when sellers list items as "faux," "inspired," "authenticity unknown," and other terminology that implies or admits counterfeit, the listings aren't removed.

If you search the Coach subforum and/or google the site's name and "purse forum," you'll find that there have been many discussions about the site as well as volunteer efforts to offer expertise and it's been refused.

I do hope you get your refund of your credits (which are the equivalent of cash) and you let their admin know that they allowed you to get scammed.
