It's authentic. It was made in 2001 in China. It isn't vintage, like the seller states.

Hi folks, I have a few bags that I am curious about authenticity and names, etc. Could you help, please?. I bought these a while back prior to knowing about this forum. The first is this reddish drawstring messenger bag. It measures 11x9x3. The creed is very worn so I used the baby powder trick which of course I heard here!

Here is the next one. It is navy if you cannot tell from pics. It measures 8x7.5x2.5. All of these pics and the other ones of the red messenger bag were taken by me. thanks for the help!

This is the shoulder bag from the Lightweights line, style #4050. It is probably from the late 80's, early 90's. It is authentic.

This one looks like a Devon bag 9908 from the early 90's.

It isn't authentic. The zipper pull ring is fake. The stitching on the zipper pull is wrong - we have seen this on other fakes. There is no zipper stop at the end of the zipper. The overlap on the piping looks sloppy. There are a few other things that look off to me.

That "puffy" creed is another red flag too. You see that on some genuine Chinese-made bags and also in a lot of fakes but it shouldn't be in a bag supposed to have been made in the US before 2000.
