Hello can I get this authenticated please. I found it at a local thrift store. I think it is a coah mini watson serial d6d-9981.

The purse is about 7.5 inch across an 7 inch deep

It has a small hole where the store punched it >< think it might shrink with conditioner?

Thank you!
It looks like an authentic Watson. This was at Savers, right? I hate it when they punch holes! I don't think it will shrink. You might be able to fill it. I bought some wallets from Savers with holes. There's really no excuse with that bag - they could have wrapped the plastic loop around the strap.

I think I know the answer but I want to confirm. It has J8Y as the prefix.

Thanks.

I'm not 100 percent sure but the date code is almost a year too early, the font of the serial matches a lot of other suspected or confirmed J8Y- fakes, and the magnetic snap doesn't look like it has the right stampings.

Thanks. I wonder whether the listing should be reported or the seller contacted. This doesn't seem to be a seller who would knowingly sell a questionable item.

I wouldn't report it unless I was sure it was fake, and I'm not. The same with contacting the seller. Unless we're 100 percent sure, the seller should be given the benefit of the doubt. All of us have probably reported what we thought were fakes that turned out to be genuine.

And I sure wouldn't think less of a seller especially one with a good record for selling something with a serial number that they could never expect to be fake and that we can't even be sure about. Right now there just isn't enough to say the serial number isn't right.

I totally understand. Thanks. (And yes, I think any of us who report on a regular basis and report enough have made mistakes. It goes with being human.)
Hi, Is this bag authentic, I've never seen a creed number like this.

Comment: So I got up at 1:30 am to win this bag from a seller in Tunisia! I hope customs lets it in. Please tell me its a basic bag from 1980.
Although I'm not expert in bags of this era, this one looks fine to me and is very similar to a basic bag that I posted on the ID this Coach subforum.

As for customs, I've shipped many items to Australia and none of my buyers were ever assessed customs fees. For an item at the pricepoint of your bag, I'd be very surprised if you were charged and even if they did get you, it wouldn't be much! Fees are based on selling prices.

Thanks BeenBurned. I couldn't resist at that price. Re customs, I buy all the time from the US and UK and have never been charged extra. I'm more concerned about whether it will be permitted without quarantine as it's leather and coming from Africa. Being an island continent, Australia is quite strict on what is permitted in.

I don't know about leather coming from Africa but I've shipped leather to Australia without issue.
