I'm a little concerned because we've seen some scary good fakes in the last few months. I'm not on my computer so I'm not good (or patient) enough to search on my phone. Someone might remember the seller's ID with "randi" (??) in it. IIRC, she is in NY and claimed to have samples. It's possible that after her listings kept being removed, she consigned them.
I found her: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...diesstuff&ftab=AllFeedback&myworld=true&rt=nc
All of her "sample" listings were removed. I don't recall ever seeing one that looked like this.
I'm not sure if her "samples" were removed or if she just gradually let them drop off Ebay. If she has a pipeline to AAA fakes disguised as samples she may have done as BeenBurned guessed and decided to go the consignment route rather than give up a nice profitable scam that was a little too public and starting to attract too much attention. Coach usually doesn't pay much attention to fakes sellers but when someone is ripping off current-style bags and taking money out of Coach's pockets, that's another story and Coach will come down on them hard.
After what I've seen of her listings, there's no way I'd ever be comfortable authenticating ANY style full-size bag with no serial number and without a TON of proof that the bag really is a factory sample. Like I said when we discussed her before, if someone's buying from an authorized Coach Sample sale, they're paying NY state sales tax on the purchase and they should have receipts showing the taxes paid. Why would any seller expect someone to take their word for it that something like that is a genuine sample bag? Of course since store receipts can be faked, sample sale receipts can too.
To put it simply - those questionable creed and missing serial number "samples" CAN'T be authenticated and we don't recommend buying them.
