Hello Hyacinth, There are no photos of the creed. I simply took a chance and paid very little for it. Based on what I see, it is authentic and I think it is older than an Ashville. The construction on this one seems less polished than the Ashville. I checked because there is an Ashville posted for sale right now.

We need readable photos of the creed and serial number for the first one. Also if it has silver hardware, it was made in the very late 1990s at the earliest, so it's not really vintage.

The second is genuine, but again not quite vintage since it's from 2000.

I added this a few minutes ago:
The style could be a Laurel Bag but we'd need measurements, and we'd still need to see the creed and serial number to authenticate

The Laurel was from around 1992 and would have measured about 11x8.

Here is what the seller just sent to me. :D

"Thank you for purchasing myebay item and paying so quickly. I will mail the bag out first thing on Mondayvia USPS Priority and will send you the tracking number. I don't use the ebayshipping feature so I do it all manually. The patch number is 0686-118. BTW,there is another one currently on ebay listed at over $200. I can't rememberthe seller but you can maybe search it under clam shell."
