1-ok

2- I've never seen a Willis from 1996 with Nickle hardware, or with the back of the post part of the turnlock covered by leather so it can't be replaced. Not recommended.

3- Station Bag, not a Willis

4- There's no way in HE** I would EVER recommend seller botticelli4grace - read the post by BeenBurned. SHE KNOWINGLY AND DELIBERATELY SOLD A LARGE LOT OF BAGS THAT INCLUDED AT LEAST 8 FAKE COACHES AND THEN CLAIMED THAT AS LONG AS ONE OF THEM WAS GENUINE, THE LISTING WAS LEGAL. I wouldn't trust her to sell a genuine newspaper, and I WILL NOT EVER recommend that anyone buy anything from her under ANY circumstances, and I will NOT authenticate ANY of her listings.

If anyone reading this keeps a "Seller S**t List" I strongly suggest adding her name to it, because she's right at the top of mine - and she had to push past some real slimeballs to get there.

5- genuine

Thanks for the information and the warning about botticelli4grace. Such a pretty name for a slimeball! I wondered about the nickel hardware on the 1996 Willis since I had read that nickel didn't get used until 1997. I've crossed the red one off my list since it's missing hardware.

Oh, and Hyacinth, I was reading your salearea guides and I'd love someone to post pics of the Gramercy and Bridle styles and the Kelly bags. Checked eBay and only found a wallet in the Gramercy. I do like the linen design of the leather. Thanks again for your expertise

Here are links to several Completed Bridle and Gramercy bags:

Hello ladies - if someone would be so kind as to look at this one for me I'd be most grateful.
I (hope) believe this is a Janice's Legacy ...
Creed stamp says F3X-9950.
It was really tough to get a clear shot of it, though. I picked it up at a thrift store for $4 so I'm not out much, and I'm not very experienced, but it feels pretty quality to me. Also - I tried to follow the format, but if I am missing something please let me know? Thanks so much in advance! :)

Item:no reserve $368 COACH BONNIE CASHIN SPEEDY DOCTOR BAG LONG STRAP BRITISH TAN USA
Listing number:350841358827
Seller: renee1victor3

The first one's not a City Bag, it's a Pocket Purse which has a different flap and is much smaller. It seems genuine.

The second one is NOT from the Bonnie Cashin era and is almost 20 years later, it's not called a Speedy or a Doctor Bag, but is a Baxter Bag probably from 1992 at the earliest, style number 9903, also genuine.

It looks ok, made in 2003.

Thanks Hyacinth for authenticating and providing additional info. Always enlightening and appreciated. I've learned to ignore most names given by sellers since they are off in many instances such as the 2 you just authenticated.
