Comments: any idea on the time period of this bag? I think it's a convertible clutch? thanks.

your site has taught me what to look for and so far so good, I couldn't have purchased any of them without the knowledge your pages have taught me. THANK YOU!!

now number 4 please can you authenticate? this one was given to me along with the wallet, the zipper is broken on the wallet. it's the black purse with matching wallet, the first 7 pictures. thank you

Sorry, I have bad news on both. The bag has an incorrect style number in the serial number, style 6070 should look like the Zoe Hobo in the picture. And the wallet is definitely fake, the C pattern isn't centered and the Coach stamps are both in the wrong place. Broken zippers on any Coach are usually a red flag too.

Since I already multi-quoted, I'll just give you a second opinion agreeing that both the bag and the wallet are fake.

They both look like Convertible Clutches, and both look genuine.

My eyes just aren't up to the challenge. I'm having trouble reading the creeds. On the first one, I can't read the first digit. It looks like a D but seems too small compared to the rest of the digits. The plant code, year and style number all seem fine but I can't tell for sure because of the first digit.

The second bag is probably fine, but I can't tell what the third digit is. It looks like a C or a G, both of which would be okay.

The third one is fine.

I have my doubts about the authenticity of the fourth one because I don't think they used nickel hardware on Willis bags in 1996.

Thank you - this is very helpful!

I purchased this Coach purse at a Thrift store and I am trying to determine if it is authentic or not.

Item Name : Mia Maggie Op Art
Link: Not Applicable
Style No H1077-15757 (Sorry the photo is not the best)

I have read everything online. The seams are straight, material is a good quality. The Leather Creed label is stamped and spelled correctly. My concerns are that the rings on the handle are not fixed, they are movable. And the smaller metal links on the straps are not continuous, they have a seam on them (seen in 2nd picture). I read information online regarding a water test to determine if the bag is authentic and the water did not bead up. I just wanted to confirm if this is a legitimate way to determine the bags authenticity.

Thanks for your help.

It's authentic.

Please don't put too much credence in the authenticity guides you find online. Most are incomplete at best, outdated and many are just plan wrong.
