Would you ladies be so kind as to help me authenticate my three problem children?
All three are on the photobucket link.

Item: Black leather #9100 "unknown style" shoulder bag
Comments: Made in Italy, sueded interior lining, interesting shoulder strap

Item: Red Leather #4158 Handle Bag
Comments: Note how the plant code is missing.

Item: Black leather "unknownstyle or name" kisslock shoulderbag.
Comments: No interior creed, heat stamp, or plate found.

Thank you so very much!!!
I'm confused by not knowing what pictures go with which bag. You have a creed for a backpack with an A factory code from 2002 in there, which is questionable. If that is the creed for that brown bag, then it isn't authentic.

I don't know anything about the first one, style 9100. Wait for Hyacinth.

I can't read the creed of the red one. If you embed it in your post, it will show bigger.

For the last one, if there is no indication of Coach anywhere on the bag, it can't be proved that it is a Coach or even a Bonnie Cashin.

Item: Black Lexington Briefcase 5265 (USA, circa 1990)
Seller: Goodwill $10

Comments: Please give an opinion about authenticity, thank you. I think this may be a Lexington Brief but I am not sure? I previously rehabbed a brown Lex Brief that was made in the Dominican Republic in 2000, see link below. The 2 bags are very similar but there are differences. Did they alter the style slightly over time?

The brown bag has a rectangular turnlock style and it has an extra leather slip pocket inside with a stitched penholder.

The black bag that was made in the US around 1990 has a oval turnlock and does not have the extra inside pocket. Also the long strap is wider than the strap on the brown bag, but one of them may have a replacement strap.

Or is one of them a fake? They look genuine to me. What are you opinions about these bags? Thanks!

It looks fine. Coach has been known to make minor changes and keep the same style number. I believe it changed in 1997.

Coach changed the shape of their briefcase turnlocks in 1996. They've changed strap lengths often, such as on the mid-90s Court Bags. They only assign a new style number if a major detail on an item has changed.

Thank you so very much!!!

Style 9100 is from the Manhattan Collection, I don't know the style name.

4158 looks like a genuine Soho Handle Bag.

I can't help with the older one, sorry.

I'd appreciate you help in authenticating the following two red bags. Both are already in my possession. I bought the Basic Bag to rehab and regift. My sister bought the Pocket Purse and isn't computer literate. Thanks for your help.

comments: I was a little surprised there was only one bid for this bag. Nice red bags are usually a sought after item.

I have a few pics to add...ones I took myself.

Comments: I "feel" this bag is authentic but have never seen so many words
squeezed in such a small creed patch. Hopefully it's just my
inexperience.

Thanks again ladies.

Both bags are authentic. The pocket purse was made in 2002 so it isn't vintage. The clutch is called a basic bag and was made in the late 70's or early 80's. Both look beautiful.

Whateve, thank you so much! I may have to keep the red Basic Bag for myself! LOL
My sister will be very happy with her Pocket Purse too. Thanks again.
