Hi everyone,

I'm new at posting here (have been reading the forum for a few months now) and would appreciate some assistance in authenticating this Coach bag I found recently while thrifting. I plan to give it a little rehab because it looks a little beat up. Thanks for your help! :smile1:

I believe it is the "Court" style

It is authentic.

thank you. I will play with them a bit and see if I can blow them up.
have a great Saturday! :)

Tried to re-size in photobucket and they are unreadable.

I can read the creed in the photo that is in the message that she sent me via our ebay accounts.
I screen capped it and am trying again here to attach.
thanks in advance for taking a look!
It looks authentic.

Item: Black Lexington Briefcase 5265 (USA, circa 1990)
Seller: Goodwill $10

Comments: Please give an opinion about authenticity, thank you. I think this may be a Lexington Brief but I am not sure? I previously rehabbed a brown Lex Brief that was made in the Dominican Republic in 2000, see link below. The 2 bags are very similar but there are differences. Did they alter the style slightly over time?

The brown bag has a rectangular turnlock style and it has an extra leather slip pocket inside with a stitched penholder.

The black bag that was made in the US around 1990 has a oval turnlock and does not have the extra inside pocket. Also the long strap is wider than the strap on the brown bag, but one of them may have a replacement strap.

Or is one of them a fake? They look genuine to me. What are you opinions about these bags? Thanks!

I'd appreciate you help in authenticating the following two red bags. Both are already in my possession. I bought the Basic Bag to rehab and regift. My sister bought the Pocket Purse and isn't computer literate. Thanks for your help.

item: Coach Pocket Purse

comments: I was a little surprised there was only one bid for this bag. Nice red bags are usually a sought after item.

I have a few pics to add...ones I took myself.

bag#2

item: Red Crossbody Clutch

seller: lisamarie0721

Comments: I "feel" this bag is authentic but have never seen so many words
squeezed in such a small creed patch. Hopefully it's just my
inexperience.

Thanks again ladies.

Hi again!

If anybody has time to look at two bags I would appreciate it (:

1. https://www.box.com/s/3cv6ut9o8skxdgykpudx
Rambler. My sister picked this up at Goodwill after seeing mine. (: Her bag does not have a serial number, just the bullseye stamp. Is there any chance it's real?

2. https://www.box.com/s/c2yo6615rwimk8uygx5x
There is no pocket on the back by the way. I've seen a few of these online, but does anybody know what this bag was called?

Both bags are authentic. The pocket purse was made in 2002 so it isn't vintage. The clutch is called a basic bag and was made in the late 70's or early 80's. Both look beautiful.

The second one is called a dinky bag. It looks like it is fantastic condition for a bag made in the late 70's or early 80's.

The first one, the Rambler's Legacy, if it is real, would have been made in the 2000's. I've never seen this style without a number. It would have to have been a mistake. I don't see any problems with it that would make me think it was fake.
