I'd recommend caution with that one too, for the same reasons Whateve gave, among others. All the ones I've seen have outlet marks, and in almost exactly the same place, which seems like a strange coincidence. But even more worrisome is that at least one also had nickel-color hardware which AFAIK shouldn't ever be on a bag from 1994.

I'm considering all those "questionable". They should NOT be reported to Ebay but there's not enough evidence to prove they're genuine yet.

The seller's photos are so weird it is hard to tell. She hasn't pulled the tab all the way through like it supposed to be. Picture 10 looks odd. It is probably all right, but on mine, the line of stitching is closer to the edge. Mine looks rounder but this one could just be squished out of shape. There appears to be some stiffening filler in the tab. Neither of mine have this, but I can see where something could be inserted. I'm sorry I can't give you a definitive answer.

"A few years ago" seems to be stretching it since going by the year code, the bag is at least 20 years old.

I'll leave the comparison of the "feel" of the leather to any posters here who may have a similar Court Bag from the early 1990s. It's just possible that if the bag sat around on the shelf or in a storeroom the leather may have dried out.

The stitching color is unusual but Coach seems to have used a contrast stitiching on a few bags during that time, or the thread might have been discolored by a product like saddle soap. The creed seems ok.

More opinions are welcome.

The bag in the listing looks authentic. I have the same bag from the same era in green. The inside of the front pocket and the inside of the zipped pocket don't have the same suede feel of the inside of the bag. The leather feels thick and soft with the exception of the base. The bag in the listing appears to have the same thick leather that my bag does. It was made between 1998 and 1993 so it is more than a few years old but if it wasn't used much and stored properly, there is no reason it couldn't be in great shape. Mine is.
