The seller sent me a separate photos of the creed patch (as I've requested) and it reads No. A1332-F23241

Thanks very much!

Sorry, the advert shows that it's no longer available and the photos aren't available either.
I saw the listing and although it looked okay, knowing the serial number doesn't confirm authenticity, The picture of the creed is necessary.

That said, it's probably fine.

It seems genuine, but I'm wondering if it's been re-dyed a different color? The natural suede parts of the inside seem really light compared to the color of the smooth leather pieces. Maybe someone who has a bag in that color from the late 80s or early 90s can compare it to theirs.

IMO - I don't think that Court bag is "burgundy", I have a couple of bags from that era that are heavily patina-ed tan or possibly natural leather that look exactly like that - same zipper, light suede inside. The actual smooth leather color is more of a caramelly reddish brown - doesn't look like the usual "Tan" because of the patina, but is not a true "Burgundy".

I know, I think that a gold hangtag will look good on it but they are usually shiny gold and the Madison Italian bags have a brushed (Florentine) gold finish on the hardware.
I got one from JAX awhile ago that has a brushed finish. It isn't exactly the same color gold but it looks pretty good on my Carlyle, who was missing her hangtag too.
