Any idea if this is genuine / what it is?

Looks like some sort of red coin pouch? I think the ones I've seen don't have the "leatherware" embossed in it though.

Sorry, it's almost impossible to authenticate small items like that, there have just been too many, and almost no record of what most of them actually looked like, unless someone else recognises it. Coach did make similar key pouches though.

Yeah, I figured it would be a tough one. Thanks anyway Hyacinth. :smile1:

Hi - I got this Coach in a large lot of purses I bought. It's not in great shape but I do want to get it authenticated. I appreciate your help. Pics:

By the shape of the ring this looks vintage from the 90's as advertised. But is it real?

Thanks

I've seen the same brass hangtag on a mid-90s keychain but the chain itself was shorter. They may have made the same style with a longer chain though like the ones used for the brass handbag charm keychains. I don't see any problem with the hangtag part.

Sorry, I have to say Fake. H4B- followed by style numbers starting with 05 belong only to items from the Business and Travel lines, not to handbags. That's one of the numbers on my Fakes List:

And I've NEVER seen the leather peel off the Logo part of the creed stamp like that, that's just impossible to imagine in a genuine Coach. The metal tab on the turnlock is too narrow, and the style itself is a ripoff of a Shelton Bag, style 9917, shown below. I've never seena Shelton or any of the other styles with the same shape flap from later than 1993 or that had the new-style serial number that included the style number.

If there are any other Coaches in the lot you bought you may want to have them authenticated too.

Mang0, I found a similar style but not with the Leatherware logo, style 7216 I think from the mid-90s. But they may have used several different logos over the years:
