Hi Ladies, would you please authenticate the following bag? I can't seem to get a serial number from the seller. I thought it was style 10132 but not sure. Thank you so much in advance!
Sommar

Item: 140970532297
Listing number: Coach : Rare Black Pebble Leather Bag
Seller: jersbuny

If a seller such as jersbuny won't send you a picture of the creed as required for authentication purposes, personally, I'd suggest another seller. You'd think that with 95% feedback, she'd bend over backwards to satisfy her buyers and improve her reputation.

Refer her here so she can understand that showing creeds and serial numbers is important.

Hi Ladies, I hope all is well. :)

This is my first time to post here in Coach thread. I just bought a bag from a thrift shop near my place and it looks good and authentic for me. But still, I would like to ask for your expertise to be sure. :)

Thank you very much in advance! :)

It's a genuine Signature Optic Gallery Tote.

BTW, the brand of zipper doesn't prove anything. What's much more important are the details of the creed and serial number, along with the other hardware especially any that have the Coach name stamped on it. The leather zipper pulls on bags and wristlets help too. We don't need any more photos of this one though.

It seems ok but I don't own any Stewardess Bags so more opinions are welcome.

thanks so much! At $25 I went for it. My instincts tell me this is a good one, and I'll take the chance. I own 2 others (NYC, Costa Rica so they vary from each other a LOT) -this style seems to have varied through the many years it has been made (strap size, etc) so I mostly was worrying about any obvious red flags BESIDES the letter "I". If a few "I" months have slipped through I can only hope this was one of them. I hope to hear from anyone else who has run into this!!!

It looks good. Style 40279 Suede Beaded Wristlet. I don't know when it came out.

SOCMOE-
The beads aren't sequins, I think they're glass. They had a tendency to crack and break if handled roughly so be careful when using it or cleaning it. It may have been called an Embossed Suede Beaded (or maybe Signature) Wristlet and would be from around 2005-06.

There were quite a few variations because they discontinued it in the late 1980s and then brought it back at least twice in the 90s, maybe as catalog- or website-only items.

Usually you don't need to worry too much about common mistakes like the "i" or mixing up the order of the first three digits on older bags unless there are other obvious problems.

I will post again since I realize I did not do the right format
Please authenticate if possible

All I know about this bag is that I bought it off eBay and it came with a vintage coach leather care booklet that I have misplaced. The first picture makes it look a little distorted but it is not just the way the bag has been stored. Please help or tell me where I may go to find out more info. Thank you so much. I certainly believe it's an authentic vintage bag. I've only actually seen 1 other bag like it with that particular strap. ( I have the Suspender Bag, with the same strap attachments, but it is all leather).

I've never known the name of that particular bag, but it looks as though Hyacinth found it on the other thread.

Very nice!:smile1:

Thanks, DemRam, that's good to hear! All I remembered were the original all-leather Suspender Bags until I looked through some of my vintage files - it looks like a twin to the light-colored Suspender/Suspender Musette from that old catalog photo. If the pictures are showing the details well, the white one Maroon14 asked about looks like it's in great condition too, and that's probably the original hangtag. Very nice indeed! :w00t:

Here's the old photo collage that I found and posted at the ID thread:

The first, based on the dimension, appears to be an authentic "Saddle Pouch" Small (style 9590) probably made in the late 1980's, before style numbers.

The 2nd bag appears to be an authentic Court Bag from 1995.
