Comments: Coach 9931

I've been meaning to ask about style 9931 for a while now.

Here's one that's currently listed, ending soon. It's one of three different styles I've seen with the style #9931. (If you check eBay completed listings, there are 3 different styles shown there, too.)

My notes show 9931 as a CHELSEA TURNLOCK. The one listed here certainly doesn't have a turnlock. Is this one really a 9931, or is any of the others a 9931?

Thanks so much for any input!
I don't have a picture of 9931 but it is described as a ziptop with a front pocket. I don't think there was a Chelsea collection in 1994. In the completed listings, there is a fake Taft and a fake turnlock bag with the same style number. I've seen a lot of fakes with the number C4C-9931. I think the one in this listing is the correct style for this style number. I can't be sure it is authentic. The creed is unreadable.

9931 is a Lewiston Bag, picture below, NOT a Chelsea Turnlock and doesn't have a turnlock at all.

In Completeds, this listing is fake and is neither a 9931 or a genuine Taft Bag:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-PURSE...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
This fake is a ripoff of the Taft Bag which should be style number 9980 but the zipper is TOTALLY wrong and would never be extended so far past the end of the bag, the underside of the strap shouldn't be a different color than the top, the stitchng and inside zipper are wrong, and the strap should have FOUR buckle holes, never just three. Please report.

This Completed listing with a turnlock is probably fake but since there's no photo of the creed stamp it's hard to prove it - the rivet at the strap mounting is NOT a Coach detail though:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-WOMEN...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
Neither the strap end or the mounting tab it's fastened to should ever have rivets on this kind of genuine Coach. Coach straps also don't use squared-off ends, they use rounded ends to prevent the ends from fraying or coming apart. Seller also lists the style number in the serial number as -9931 but the genuine style 9931 is very different and has a top zipper, NOT a front flap or turnlock.

This listing is genuine: 130857602232

Comments: I am posting on behalf of a friend who purchased it and is unsure about its authenticity
Has your friend received it yet? I'd feel more comfortable authenticating the pictures of the actual bag since the seller used a stock picture for the gallery (main) photo and I'm not sure her other pictures (and photos in other listings) are her own.

When sellers have a variety of backgrounds and photographing styles, it's hard to tell whether what you see is what you get.

insomnia last night = me buying Coach bags....one had 56 seconds left so no time to get a photo of the creed or get it authenticated. I will post the info and if u can tell me what you think off of 2 pics, I will post more pics when I receive it. The second one, same scenario but this one has the creed and pics and looks to me like a genuine Sheridan Glenwood (fingers crossed). Thanks as always, ladies!

Hoping this is a genuine large calfskin pocket satchel:

So far, the first one doesn't show any red flags. If you can post a creed pic, that would help confirm.

I just FB messaged her to ask. What is the most important parts of the bag to photograph when trying to ID them this way? I figured creed patch, hang tag, zipper/zipperpull, etc.

EDITED TO ADD: I asked her if she could take some pics, like of the creed patch, etc. She said there was no creed patch...

Show creed (if there is one in that bag), lining/interior, strap and clip and closeup of the front closure.

The pictures shown seem okay but I want to make sure that's what she received.
