Hello wonderful Coachies! I haven't had much time to indulge my Coach habit, but happened to stumble upon a couple of oldies! Any help would be greatly appreciated as always. First up:

Sorry they're sideways! Got a new tablet and I can't figure out how to rotate the darn pics!

It's a Stewardess Bag from the early to mid-1980s.

Not quite sure about this one..the tag shows E1126-18792M and I've never seen a letter after the numbers? I think the "11" in it should mean it was made in 2011 but I thought Carlys were discontinued before that but I'm not quite sure.

It looks good. I believe this one was an exclusive made for Macy's.

Okay, I had to ditch the tablet - it was taking too long! Hyacinth, this one may interest you - could it possibly be a pre-creed Cashin era bag?

The leather is amazing!

There weren't a lot of pre-Cashin bags since Coach only made purses for about 2 or 3 years before Bonnie Cashin came to work for them. But it's before a time that I'm familiar with, so maybe Whateve or DemRam can answer your questions.

I have one bag with that mark. I sent photos to the Cashin Foundation about 7 years ago and was told that my bag was produced "after 1974, the last year that Cashin worked for the firm". Obviously, that doesn't mean much, because the mark itself could have been used before 1974.

The bag looks like a pre-creed Crescent Bag to me. That mark and quite a few others were used during AND after the Cashin era. It's all a big mystery.

Thank you Hyacinth and DemRam! It's my first "pre-creed"! Dare I dunk it?

Hi, can you help me authenticate this bag. I purchased it at a garage sale years ago and the box has just been sitting in my closet. I have all the original paperwork that came with it along with the box and actual blank form for it to be registered. It says 9635 BRGNDY on the side of the box. Number inside 237-1623, would really love to know the year. Has original price tag on it from Dayton-Hudson. Thank you for any info. So sorry, the first photo is upside down..

It's an authentic convertible clutch, probably from around 1979 to the early 80's.
