It looks like a genuine Zippered Pouch, style number 9655, probably made in the early or mid-1980s.

As for color, they had an early '80s color that was somewhere between purple and burgundy but I don't know what it was called. Maybe just Burgundy?

just curious about that too since my bag even looks like a diff color IRL than any photo I'm seeing posted here or anywhere. The shade of true teal just can't be captured on camera without a little tweaking. And so I am wondering if this is just yet again, a capture of color issue, or if it's really truly this different of a blue color.

Sure you can. With purses, "vintage" is considered 20 or more years old so anything from the 1980s qualifies.

Yuck! I hate the new and "improved" photobucket! Your pictures are too small to see anything, but I'll comment on #3 that you posted.

Although I can't see anything from the pictures, that's at least the 3rd bag with 22096-08 as the serial number in the last week. It looks like a new number that might be added to Hyacinth's fakes list.

I think you'll need to post larger pictures or links that show larger images. I usually use the link (not the thumbnail one) and full-sized pictures are embedded.

Big is better. I appreciate the pictures this size. Usually I can't authenticate bags with Photobucket pictures because I can't see them well enough. If I'm reading it correctly, you can add the station bag to the dumpster as well. It looks like it says E5-A5130. I don't think they would make a stamping mistake like that. You can wait for confirmation if you'd like.
