If you can report the listing as counterfeit, please do. It doesn't matter WHAT she calls it, if it says Coach or has any Coach trademarks and wasn't made by Coach, it's counterfeit and illegal and can be reported.

It really is a beautiful blue/ green. When I received it, I was hoping it would have the striped Legacy lining as well, but I'm happy nonetheless.

I have this purse. I have some concerns. The zipper pull isn't the right shape. The back of the rivets on the handles on this bag have a hole, and mine doesn't.

As far as the scratches, a leather conditioner can disguise them and make them less noticeable but won't make them disappear. I have had trouble rehabbing this kind of bags. You can make it look almost new if you use Leather Refinisher.

Whateve, thank you! You are right, I am now comparing the rivets and zipper pull to similar bags on Ebay. I see the differences! I never wouldve noticed that. Here are the bags I was comparing to, in case you are interested:

Thanks. This is one of my favorite vintage bags. The real name of this bag is the Soft Satchel from the Lightweights line. It is not a Baxter or a Boston satchel, although a lot of sellers tend to call it that.

I can't be 100 percent sure about the bag without seeing a clear photo of the creed stamp, but there don't seem to be any problems.

If the serial number listed by the seller is right, it was made in 2001 in China, so although it's New With Tags it's still 12 years old. The smaller leather items seem ok, I don't know scarves and can't help with that.

Good observations. I only have the catalog pictures to go on and they show the backs of the handle rivets as being indented but with a more rounded indentation. The catalog pictures are too small to be much help even after enlarging them.

I don't recommend reporting that one, but it's a good idea to keep those differences in mind. If it IS a fake Soft Satchel # 4055 it's one of the best I've ever seen.
