I totally missed "marXings"! LOL Thanks!

Most times when you see that 308-9875 serial number there are usually one or two other things on both the creed and the bag itself that are good for a laugh. :graucho:

I have a question..is it true that I can take my authentic bags to any coach store and they will clean them?

Not that I'm aware of, but you may want to ask at the main Coach forum. Coach has eliminated many of their old service features over the years especially since production moved overseas.

There are also quite a few threads that tell you how to clean and care for Coach bags starting with the Rehab and Rescue Club thread.

Hi All! Will you please help me authenticate this Coach bag?

They said it has YKK on the zippers and the serial number is: G0773 - 40928

Its very much appreciated!

Welcome to tPF!

First of all, having zippers that say YKK doesn't prove anything. Forget EVERYTHING you've ever heard or read about zippers except for this Guide in the link:

This is a very small bag, so please check the measurements, it's considered a Pouch, not a purse. Also we'll need to see clear readable photos of the creed patch and serial number in the future, check post number 1 in this thread for the format we prefer. What I can see seems to be ok but we need that creed photo to be 100 percent sure.

I highly doubt it. They will probably look at you as if you have 2 heads. There customer service used to be stellar, if you took one of the original NYC bags in for repair it was shipped to the factory and fixed free. I think having factories in other countries put a stop to that. Now if you need something repaired you have to send $20 to cover shpg, but there is no guarantee they will fix. They might just send you a % off coupon ( I think 20% as my BFF got one ) to use at any Coach store.
