All are genuine
1- genuine, from 1994
2- Coach has never used the name "Speedy", that name belongs to LV. This is a Gramercy North-South Satchel
3- Madison Sutton Convertible Satchel
4- Gramercy Zip

It looks like a genuine Devon Bag style 9908 from the early 90s. I can't comment about the size of that leather piece since I don't own that style bag. Maybe someone who has the same style can take a look.

Hyacinth - you authenticated my Devon back in April - also from early 90's that also has the SAME wider leather piece inside :-)

Also could you check out this bag I posted in the Hall of Shame and the reasons I think it is fake: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Black...163?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item1e73c3039b

Thanks!

The City Bag seems ok.

I can't comment on the other one. But different plants use different creed stamps with different wording and formatting, and sometimes words get divided like that on newer creeds so creeds with different plant codes really shouldn't be compared. And without knowing for sure when Coach stopped including the inside ring with their bags I can't say if it's a problem or not. I don't think that's enough evidence to report it as fake though, and I really hope it doesn't get removed. There just isn't enough solid evidence, and it's better to give a seller the benefit of the doubt considering the problems that a VeRO removal can cause for a seller.

Hi,

I would like to authenticate this Coach Bag because I have been searching for this model L2K-8928 for a reference (as in the picture no.3) but couldn't find it anywhere.

Secondly, I am a bit confuse with the metal hang-tag (as in the last picture) since all the while all the hang-tag is leather made.

Thank you.

Not all Coaches have leather hangtags. Coach has used hangtags made of metal and even plastic. Wherever you heard or read that hangtags are only made of leather, it's incorrect, please don't believe anything else you read in the same place.

I don't know the name of that bag, but it is genuine. When you search for a serial number, do NOT use the first half of the number. Those are codes that tell where and when it was made and won't help you find the same style. You should either search for 8928 or Leather Clip Hobo. Don't depend on finding another one on the internet to prove it's genuine. Ask here instead.

Picked this one up at Savers. It was more than what I intended to spend (about $30), but it is really good shape. The edgekote is not worn, and there is only light scuffing to the corners. It's just dry and dusty, really. I'd love a name and ballpark time frame of when it was made, if possible!

Measurements are approx. 7" x 7.5" x 2", with 20" strap drop. Has 1 slip pocket inside, where the creed stamp is (New York City!). The only hardware on the bag is the turnlock. The straps are sewn directly onto the bag, like a Casey bag.

It's a genuine Compact Pouch style number 9620 from the mid-1980s.
