Thanks, I'm lucky because mine is pretty clean and thanks to your information I will resist the urge to give it a bath! Do you remember if your "made in India" tag had a white dot on it, indicating MFF?

I've been trying to research this and I think that they may have made both MFF and FP versions. Thanks again!
Mine was FP, which was why I was surprised that yours is also FP but made in China. I know they have made factory items with that lining.

I think her name should be "Diva" instead of Delia! :D

It's a Stewardess Bag.

Thank you so much.
Diva Delia is a bit clingy right now, smart kitty knows I am going thru a bit of a rough patch and she has been either glued to my person or whatever project I'm trying to do the last few days. Gotta love having a live-in therapist in the form of a big snuggly mush ball. :smile1:

P.S.--NOT trying to pester you, did you happen to find any info about the little blue suede thing I posted yet? (just making sure ya didn't miss it since Diva Delia and I kinda spammed the thread here today LOL)

Item: Bleecker Wristlet
Seller: Savers $1.75
Comments: Black/black jacquard signature wristlet with tattersall lining, please give an opinion about authenticity and if you have any ideas about when these were released I would also appreciate that information, thank you!

The Mercer looks ok. I can't help with the wristlet.

I had this wristlet awhile ago but mine was made in India. The lining was hard to clean. I would clean one part and a smudge would appear somewhere else. I'm guessing this is from 2007 or 2008. You got a great deal!

Thanks for all your help. I have done some research, with help from BB, and found examples of this Bleecker wristlet and I feel confident that it is genuine. It is 40894 and it was made for the boutiques circa 2007 and the MSRP was $48. Here is a picture of the same wristlet in khaki sig with coal leather trim, very cute! And it really was a bargain to find one in such good shape and so cheap!

I don't have a name for it but the style is from some time around 2003-2004.

Heehee yes, that was the first (and only so far) one that I've figured out! LOL

I am limited to the simple ones myself! I have a genuine Sheridan Glenwood bag that has no serial number and a Legacy Straw Tote with the bizzare style number of 113 and another bag - can't remember which one right now - that has both letters and numbers in the style number and another that has an error because it was a new plant in a 3rd world country! Thank goodness for Hyacinth, and DemRam and all our lovely authentication experts. If it wasn't for them I would never feel confident buying any used, rehab bargains!

Evening Ladies :) I was wondering if someone could help authenticate a couple recent finds for me...it's been so long since I have had time to get on here my pile of rehabs has multiplied lol anyhow...

The Stewardess Bag looks genuine. And the seller was left Feedback claiming the bag was fake - that doesn't prove that it actually was. Their other Feedback would make me think twice before I bought anything from them though.

ETA - REGARDING THE LISTING THE BUYER CLAIMED WAS FAKE - Here's the cached copy of the listing. The bag was perfectly genuine and the buyer juicyqu33n should be added to sellers' Blocked Bidders Lists.
