This was found on my local online garage sale facebook page. seller claims to have a receipt but I'm skeptical

It's a Companion Bag, style 9300. Probably from the late 1980s.

Just a question, when I search for other Companion bags on Ebay I get a very different looking bag. Does it have another name?

Sorry, it's not in my files. Maybe someone else will recognise it.

The blue suede wristlet is probably ok but it's just too generic to put a name to. Both of them back then probably would have been named for what they were, Soho Suede Flap and some kind of size description.

There is a "Companion" bag which is style number 9300.

There is a "Companion Flap" bag which is style 9076.

Different bags.

That's a HORRIBLE fake. The patch on the front isn't even straight!

WHY would you trust a Facebook seller? Is there any way they can be forced to refund your money if it turns out to be fake?
