That's what it is, but it's really hard to tell if it's genuine. The duffle-style bags were faked often and the photos don't clearly show the areas of the bag that might show mistakes. The lopsided creed is a problem, but I've seen crooked stamps before. There IS one area on the bottom that I'm concerned with, along with the unusual color, and the creed stamping itself really doesn't look right. The shape of the inside pocket looks off too.

Personally I wouldn't bid on it, but there's not quite enough evidence to report it as counterfeit. If I had to make a bet though, I'd put my money on "fake".

And strictly speaking, it's not "vintage" yet since it's only 16 years old.

Just so you know, the seller has assistants who sometimes write the listings and can sometimes make a mistake.

As for the seller needing to be educated - WRONG. Just FYI, the seller IS a tPF member and DOES come here for advice. I think you need to take a look at not only their record, but at what they're currently doing to educate other buyers - the Salearea Guides are one of the most accurate information pages on Ebay, although I may be personally prejudiced. I'd strongly advise reading and Bookmarking them for future reference!

Good advice. It's nice to know some people do do their homework. Salearea really takes a lot of pictures and trys to give you as much information about the condition. I ment no offense.

Like I said really getting a education on this page. Very new to Coach. Love the older styles and quality.

I will look up the Guides.

Probably genuine.

I hardly ever saved names of wallets and can't really help, but it does look like a Soho buckle style.

Oh my goodness! I had no idea anything like that was going on. I have donated and I hope that anyone who has been lucky enough to have a item authenticated will also donate if at all possible.

Just a suggestion - maybe you could make this information a thread on this forum to raise awareness?

I agree with Hyacinth. Looks good to me. I'm not 100% on the year but I believe it was released somewhere between 2006 and 2008. I'm not quite sure of the proper name, but I believe it's a Soho Slim Checkbook/Envelope.
