Just had an email from 2nd seller and it appears it is the same number!!!

BOTH BAGS HAVE THE SAME CREED NUMBER????

Both bags look good to me. It is possible for two bags to have the same serial number. The first part of the code is the registration number which indicates the month and year it was made and the second part is the style number.

All three are completely different styles, there's no reason why the pockets wouldn't be different. Don't compare Coach bags unless they're exactly the same style.

The first one can't be authenticated without a photo of the creed and serial number.

The second seller copied the details and description in her listing from another listing or another seller - notice the serial number she gives in the description 067-2008 doesn't match the one in the bag. I wouldn't bid without asking for clarification as to which bag she's actually selling. If it's NOT the one with the 0703-216 serial number as shown in the photos, I'd ask for photos of the actual bag being sold.

The third one seems ok but there's no evidence in the Coach literature that it's a Bonnie Cashin design.

That seller REALLY needs to post photos of the creed patches in their listings. Normally I'd want to see that, but fakes in that style are usually pretty easy to spot. As long as you get the items in the photo, they're genuine. It's a Signature Large Applique Carryall from late 2005, style 1490.

Top is a Lindsay Bag style 9888 from the early 1990s. Second is a Sheridan Monticello style 4226 from 1992 or 93. The strap looks like a replacement, an original strap would have had the same beige topstitching as the piping on the bag.

VERY big FAKE! No wonder she didn't show the creed stamp!

We say it over and over but it can never be said too many times - never buy or bid without a clear photo of the creed stamp, and authentication by someone familiar with Coach creeds. This one has a style number -521 that belongs to a leather Backpack, not a purse. Also both the month AND the Plant codes are invalid.

Paid $3.99 at Goodwill today.
Approx 6"w x 4"h and not very thick! Strap including dog leash: 13"
Has black fabric tag inside: MADE IN CHINA
And I think I see an Outlet Bullseye on the strap (pic with hangtag)
Any info is much appreciated. (I'm waaaay outside my arena here!)

Thank you!!! I was thinking it was a fake, even before I saw the creed - I told my mom that if any of the 3 bags I picked out were fake, it would be the brown one. With the numbering, the wording of the creed, and the way the stamp is fading it definitely seemed like a fake, but I'm not very knowledgeable with Coach bags so I needed expert advice. I think it's a man selling it and he may not actually know. I informed him, we'll see if he takes the Etsy listing down or changes it.
