I know the creed pic means the bag sent will be fake, but is the picture on the listing of a real bag? I'm wondering if this seller is up to bait and switch on unsuspecting buyers or if there are fake Sophie-ish bags about now.

Just wanting to confirm authenticity of two bags and get collection names and style numbers if possible. Thank You -- both bags were Goodwill buys.

A little more description of the bag in question would help, but the seemingly black creed on the wrong interior color is raising a flag for me, personally.

Is there a link where you saw this bag listed? Is it on ebay or another website?

The original bag and website you asked about is the reason why we request a certain posting format and information. In addition to pictures of the bag, there's a wealth of other information that a link and seller ID can tell us.

I'd like to see pictures with a more accurate depiction of the color.

The picture of the creed is for a Madison Carlyle. I'm confused...why is the seller sending that picture for the bag ins the auction?

I think the seller just made a mistake and sent the wrong creed picture. She mistakenly sent the picture from this listing which she also has up:

I didn't know creed was for a different bag. That's why I was asking I need to be careful of fake Sophies and I posted here to ask why photo sent didn't match the listing.

It's definitely authentic and appears to be style 8950. (There have been several similar styles so I'm not sure of this one. Maybe someone else might know better.)

Understandable. But so many people are too quick with the trigger finger and report button and I'd hate to see an authentic listing pulled because the seller made a mistake.
