Thanks again Hyacinth. I've read the guides and I'm going to take some of the info from them and go back and take another - really close - look at the local bag. If it looks good I may buy it, and then begins the nailbiting because I will be taking many many pics and asking you to authenticate, if you don't mind. We'll see!

ETA: thanks also BeenBurned. Just saw your post about taking it back if it turns out to be fake! Don't know if I'd have the nerve, if I bought a bag labelled faux. I know, I know, counterfeits are no more legal in Canada than the U.S., but I think the seller would say, "you knew what you were buying, etc, etc ..." If I buy it, I'll only do so knowing I'll be keeping it, but if I do buy it, I'd still like to get you guys to see if you can authenticate it, just for my peace of mind.

You're welcome.

Only you can decide if it's worth taking a chance on it and trying to return (possibly implying reporting the sale of fakes) if it turns out to be fake.

The picture of the creed (in your second post) isn't showing. You'll need to save the picture to your computer and upload the attachments.

Note that Belmodo sells on Bonz also and none of her listings have enough pictures. None show creeds and descriptions only state style number portion of the serial number.

There's no excuse for the seller not to show creed photos. She's listed at least one very obvious fake before but luckily removed it before it sold. And she's posted here before and knows perfectly well what kind of photos are needed to prove a Coach's authenticity. I guess since one of her questionable or fake bags was spotted because of a fake serial number she's decided to not show serial numbers any more instead of making sure her items are actually authentic.

We don't advise buying from any seller who can't be bothered to take photos that help prove their items are genuine, especially photos of the creed and serial number. Just posting what the style number is does absolutely nothing to prove the bag's authentic.
