And I'm wondering about that color. I know colors hardly ever look the same to a camera or monitor as they do to the human eye, but that color looks like a Jade Green but the greens for the 1997 Sohos were more Leaf or pale Lime colors. In fact Aqua, Lime and Leaf were the names of the 1997 green colors according to Coach's catalogs. I don't remember anything even close to the color in the listing being used by Coach, but there may be colors made for special stores or retailers that I've never seen.

I can't say for sure either way, but it's probably safer not to buy it.

Thank you. I thought there was something iffy about it. The buckle on my blue one which you authenticated is silver and it was made in May. I have seen one listed before that looked like a pastel mint green and I think I have seen lime. The seller calls this lime but it doesn't look the same as the lime I have seen before.

I'm sure Hyacinth is referring to a "bean bag" creed on a purse but Coach did make bean bag key fobs that had a bean bag creed.

The bullet (you refer to as "o") is something Coach stamps on boutique bags when they send them to the outlets.

The X is something they stamp on bags they liquidate, i.e., send to discounters like Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Nordstrom's Rack, etc.

I bought this Coach bag and wallet on eBay for my mom's birthday this coming April 7, but I'm not sure if I bought an authentic or a knock off purse. I have few issues with it. The wallet says made in India and the stitching on the edges are obviously not perfect. And I'm a bit wondering in the leather handles of the purse if its a real leather or not (I don't know how to spot a leather). And does this style and color really exist? Please help me? Please.

Both wallet and bag look fine. Coach does make some of its accessories in other countries, among them, India.

The items are MFF (made for factory) and are from 2008. If the stitching is less-than-perfect, it's a quality issue and not an authenticity one.

The color is lilac and yes, Coach did make it.
