Item: small pink signature hobo found at Value Village
If someone could authenticate, I'd be very thankful. If it's authentic, it's a great deal - got it for $5. :D

If you need more pictures of specific things, please let me know. The fabric lines up perfectly, and it looked legit to me, but I'm not an expert.

Thankfully no. I'm like...99% sure it was fake. 15837 was the creed number she told me, which she said it "was hard to make out, but it says 15837. And it was a beautiful bag, too bad I couldn't enjoy it like me"

Odd. It looked like a metallic python (Hampton or whatever) but entirely too shiny and the interior wasn't the same color...

Item: Medium Coach (?) Legacy (?) black leather purse

This one's harder to tell for me -- the creed imprint is EXTREMELY worn down, but the leather and the shape are consistent with my Bleecker red leather bucket (similar to this: http://totecollection.net/coach-bag...carryall-shopper-bucket-tote-duffle-bag-9305/ -- NOT MY SALE -- but in a medium red)

I have tried to get half-decent pictures. Please let me know if there's something you need a better shot of. I am fairly sure it says No. MSD 9303 or 9393. The creed does say United States made, but I cannot make out all the words.

Another Value Village find -- $15 for this one. If this is authentic, I'm headed back tomorrow for that "Hermes" they had. The only thing I can think is that someone emptied out a closet or estate sale into that particular store. There were a TON of other designer purses there. Saw a Prada and a Dooney, neither of which do much for me so I left them for the next lucky person. :)

Genuine Bleecker Satchel, style 9303, M8D- looks like the perfix which makes it a 1998 bag.

Thank you both so VERY much for your time and research. I truly appreciate it. Looks like another trip to that thrift store is in order. Apparently my bag collection is getting a boost this weekend!!

I've found two 5117 bags listed on ebay under different names (see below, NMAs). Do you know the actual name of this bag?

One of the auctions states that it retailed at $378, does that sound correct? My bag doesn’t have a hangtag and I don’t see one in pics from either of the auctions; do you know if it is supposed to have one, and if so, what did it look like?

Hi katev! They say "great minds think alike..." And this is just one more time. Congrats! You and I have many many of the same bags, rescued from various thrift stores. This is just the latest one! Mine was only $3.50 a few years ago and came with a gunmetal hang tag. I also have the same tote you had your cobbler dye so beautifully. Mine is up for a rehab, too and will post results in the future.

Wow, $3.50 was an amazing bargain for that bag! Goodwill had the tote priced at $50 and normally I would have passed on it, but they were having a 10% off sale and I also had a 25% coupon so that brought the price down to $36 which I felt was more reasonable - considering the condition.

I look forward to seeing your photos!
