The photos are too small to see important details. Please ask the seller to send or post larger photos of the front of the bag that clearly show the Carriage logo, and we also need to see a clear readable photo of the inside creed patch and serial number. Thanks!

Here's a clear photo of the Carriage logo and creed patch. Thank you. Please help me. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks Hyacinth! :)

Comments: seller couldn't get a picture of the creed but she says it is number L3L 9090 and that it was made in the US. It looks like a rambler's legacy but that is the wrong style number. Is L a US plant?

It's definitely not a style 9090, that belongs to a large Tote. If that's the correct serial number, the bag is at least questionable and possibly fake.

The plant code L was used for a US plant in the 90s but in 2003 was also used for a Thailand plant, and those bags seem genuine. I can't imagine 2 plants using it in the same year.

With those two red flags I'd strongly advise against bidding on it.

THANKS so much!! I want to make sure what i sell is authentic. I have desided i would rather have a few high end bags than a. Bunch of cute bags i never ware. I will post more soon. Is it frowned upon to put in my listings that I have my items authenticated on pursefourm.com? And how do i get my name in the good sellers list?
TPF rules disallow any mention of selling. If you have items that you know are authentic, i.e., you purchased them from legitimate authorized retailers, it's not necessary to have them authenticated.

If you bought items that you don't know whether authentic, you may post pictures of the pertinent details.

I will remember that thank you!

I was feeling the same way. Thank you. So many of these sellers have no clue whether they are selling authentic bags or not.
