Hard to believe, but it's actually genuine. That's one style that always looks fake even when it isn't, and it looks better when it's stuffed.

Hyacinth, did you see the two leather teardrop swatches in the gallery pic? What's with them?

Hi guys! I don't mean to be a bother, but I think my request may have gotten skipped. I would like to make an offer on this, but I didn't want to until I get the ok from you. Thanks so much for your time :smile1:
Rather than being skipped, it's probably more a matter of none of us being familiar enough with the wallet to offer a valid opinion.

I don't see any obvious problems but wallets are well-faked and without much clearer pictures, I can't offer much more of an opinion.

Hello - I have another COACH bag to authenticate - also the GUCCI site says "closed" to post - but I have GUCCI bags to authenticate as well on this site..any help is appreciated!

SITE with Pics: http://testsw.homestead.com/index.html
Purse 1 - GUCCI
Purse 2 - LV
Purse 3 - LV
Purse 4 - COACH
Purse 5 - GUCCI
Purse 6 - FENDI
The Coach bag is fake and most of the others (if not all) are fake too.

For the Guccis, post here. See post #2 for the required pictures and posting format: http://forum.purseblog.com/gucci/au...format-posts-1-a-689655-373.html#post20971808

Ok. Thanks for the reply BB. I appreciate it. If I can get clearer pictures from the seller I will repost.

Damn, now you've got me wondering too. I noticed those right off the bat and actually had a "Fake!" reply written up, but then decided to take another look. Now after a THIRD look, I'm seeing a few more things that are close but not quite all there, like the size of the ring that the lower end of the clip attaches to (might just be a trick of the lighting though, the other O-rings seem to be the right size), and the shape of the top of the hangtag. If it's fake, it's the closest copy of that style that I've seen. The C pattern looks a bit "off" too but maybe that's just the lack of stuffing.

It's really hard to understand why any crook would bother faking something that already looks fake. Maybe there wasn't that much adjusting to do? Did those even sell well enough to bother faking them?

I'm just going to say Questionable, the creed doesn't show any red flags at all that I can see.

For my comps, I've compared to this listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-1470-...339?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item41616f875b

Another slight difference I noticed (and it may be just the angle of the picture) is the suede square on the back of the strap appears to be more of an elongated rectangle than square:

And the creeds, although from the same month and plant, don't look quite alike to me.

I'm also a bit bothered by the slight misalignment of the pattern across the top of the pink bag, both front and back, as compared to the blue one.

ETA: Here's another picture that shows that the bottom ring (that the clip attaches to) seems to look much thinner on the pink bag than on the blue one.
