Thank youu!

my concerns lie with the 3rd row of Cs --- they don't look symmetrical?
A lot of patterns aren't perfect, that doesn't make them fake. And why isn't the item in the main listing link the same as in the extra photos?

Although I'd have liked to see a picture of the inside of the first item, they both appear to be okay. I don't see a problem with the C pattern.

Hyacinth, the Kiiji listing shows two pictures, one of each item. The additional pictures are of the second item in the listing.

Sorry the link was misleading - I thought it just went straight to the pink wristlet. Also here's a picture of the inside the seller sent:
[oops sorry just realized you were asking for the first clutch...I just wanted the pink one :), but hopefully this just gives more confirmation]

hi. is this authentic Coach? all the other attributes appear to be quality Coach, but the plastic turnlock has me curious. if it's authentic, does anyone know the name of this bag? it's a tote with a center zip pocket. both internal zippers have the YKK.

First of all, the name stamped on the zippers doesn't mean a darned thing. Please read these Guides, at least the ones about YKK zippers AND "authenticity guides" and also the Creed and Serial Number Guides before buying or selling Coaches:
http://search.reviews.ebay.com/members/salearea_W0QQcpnameZmembersQQprZsaleareaQQuqtZg

The bag is genuine, and many of the styles in this particular line of straw bags had turnlocks color-matched to the leather color, whether metal or plastic. It's just called a Straw Tote and was made in 2000.

Also please promise that you'll never mention the term "YKK" around here again because it's guaranteed to make me NUTZ because of all the incorrect information and just plain lies about that subject that has caused no end of grief for thousands of buyers and sellers alike. Read the Guides.

Oh, and welcome to tPF. :smile1:

Really.

Just don't ... you know. :graucho:

okay, thank you! i thought i had read about the YKK thing on this site, forgive me. i will read the links you provided. i feel pretty confident about authenticating most Coach bags i see secondhand, but i have been using the YKK thing as one of the criteria. thank you for the info! that habit will now be banished. ;)

Sorry, I must not have scrolled down far enough.

AFAICT it looks ok but I wish the part showing the strap clip was less blurred.

A lot of Coach's small accessories will have fabrics that are just a little off with the alignment, Skinny Minis are famous for it.

No problem, a few people who actually tried to write a half-decent guide have been suckered in by that myth too, especially since it's EVERYWHERE. Unfortunately NONE of them ever bothered to wonder why crooks that make counterfeit Coaches couldn't buy real YKK zippers too - or FAKE ones. And apparently none of them ever bothered to look at actual zippers, especially on older Coaches.

Just copying what they found somewhere else doesn't make a guide more valid, in fact, it just keeps the same baloney in circulation.

You may want to save the links to the Fake Serial Numbers List too:

Good grief! It's not Gucci either.

The best part is the description "Always got complements on it but need the extra money."

 I would like to know who gave her complements on that bag so I can take them to the nearest eye doctors for an eye exam. I reported it for key word spam but she will probably find some other brand to use to spam next.
