I know it's not a handbag (newbie and didn't see an authenticate header under accessories), but I am looking to get new prescription glasses and I wanted to get Coach frames. I was wondering if someone could tell me if this seller seems legit or are his/her prices too good to be true...

Welcome to tPF. You did great for your first post. Many people find it confusing and don't know where to post. You found the right place and did the correct posting format!

The glasses and the seller's other listings appear to be fine although the writing on the insides of both arms should be shown.

As long as the seller's pictures are his own, I think you'll do fine.

They're a fake-selling company out of China. STAY AWAY! (ETA: And for the prices they charge, you can find authentic Coach for less!)

Comments: I thought this was a Legacy Zip 9966 but the style number is 9960. When I did a search on eBay for other 9960 bags, I found what looks like a totally different style, a backpack. Did Coach ever re-use style numbers?

Coach has re-used style numbers only 2 or 3 times that I know of, and at least 2 of those times involved very old style numbers that they'd apparently lost track of.

But there's a really good reason this number is wrong - the answer is in here:

Thanks, Hyacinth. I have that guide saved but read it again. I'm sorry, but I can't find the part you're referring to that would explain why this number is wrong. I'm sure I'm just missing it right in from of my eyes. If you could highlight it or quote it for me, I would appreciate it.
