You're welcome.

I think maybe one of the others might be able to name the bag for you.

You're welcome.

Please post the picture when you receive it.

Here are the new photos that the seller sent me. What a world of difference a good quality photo makes...I can now clearly see that the horse in the Coach isn't breaking free from the stagecoach. :) The bag looks great to me.

Comments: Is this real? Creed reads 5AM-4225.

It's a Sheridan Glenwood bag from 1995. With white bags like this it's always a good idea to ask the seller if there's any sign at all that they've been re-dyed or even worse, shoe-polished. Keep any reply that she sends you in case the bag turns out to have been recolored in some way.

We are bag siblings again because I also have a Girlie Hobo, mine is wool and nappa leather. I didn't notice a hangtag on your bag so I have posted the link to a pic of my bag below. It has a small metal hangtag that may be hard to replace, but since your bag is black leather I am sure that a plain leather or metal tag will look fine.

Great bag for a great price, congratulations!

It's a cute bag, isn't it? Sadly, it'll have to go back. It was a great price, it did have the hangtag (I took it off during pic taking), and it actually came with the dustbag! It was 16 after shipping, so still not bad, but it had undisclosed damages.. several dried up substances inside that seemed to be lacquer or nail polish or something that was so hard they would not even bend, crack, or break. Maybe paint thinner or some strong solvent will get rid of them, but I foresee collateral damage with that process. It also had punctures to it that appear to be either animal claw marks or bite marks. It didn't look chewed on per se, but they were on there. I can handle nail scratches from people, but claw marks that actually dig into the leather? Uh-uh. I could have tried keeping it - for the price, it came with a nice hefty tag AND a real dust bag (I know the bag alone goes for more plus shipping on bonanza) but it's the principle of the thing. The seller told me "I am sorry I can't offer you anything. If you have to use eBay process please do so." :tdown:So here I am. UPS picks up an extra package from work today.

That's too bad but I understand what you mean; I don't expect a used purse to be pristine but I do expect an accurate auction description so that I know what I am buying! I just looked it up and I had paid $9 plus tax for my Girlie Hobo, so we are in the same range. My bag was filthy but undamaged - no dust bag though!

Comments: Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the signature pattern supposed to match-up at the middle seam? TIA
The bag is authentic.

I have in my records that 10483 is one of the exceptions. Style 10482 is a smaller version.

In fact, here's a post that mentions this exception: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-sh...enticity-questions-94198-28.html#post14467300

This is Coach's picture of 10482:

Ladies I apologize in advance for the pics. I tried my best using a cell phone & all. Please let me know if this Vintage Coach Willis bag is authentic. It feels thinner than my other Vintage bags, but it does have a bullet near the creed I couldn't get a clear enough shot of it.

Thanks Hyacinth. To be honest, that sounds quite scary. How do you detect signs of re-dye or shoe-polished?
