I apologize for not posting correctly, but I'm new to this site and find it very confusing. I just want to know if anyone has seen this exact bag. My aunt gave it to me to try and sell but haven't found anything exactly like it. It doesn't have a serial number. It looks like the stewardess bag but has no clasp lock. I have a lot of pictures so hopefully someone will recognize it. Thanks.

Welcome to the Purse Forum! I agree that it is a bit confusing to find your way around this site.

What are the measurements of the bag? I've seen similar "flap bags" and your is authentic based on the little black/white metal plaque that Coach used back in the old days (1970's).

Maybe with the measurements, we can come up with a "name".

Thank you for your response. The bag measures approx. 8.5" h. x 9.75" w. The strap is quite wide; 2" across the center. The back exterior does not have a pocket, just the seam. I think I mentioned, there is no hardware on the flap. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Classic Pouch/Classic Shoulder Bag possibly, style 9170. Also has the correct strap that widens at the center.

Please help me to authenticate.

3. Item: 9951 Patricia's Legacy

Comments: Just concerned about the brass that has turned silver on some of the strap drop holes. I've seen it before when a few have been fakes but I think I have seen it on some legitimate bags as well.

thank you! :) ;)

1- Looks like a Ranch Bag style 9852 from around 1990

2- ok

3- Very questionable, not just the silver grommets but the code digit "E" that should only belong to Italy. The creed says US.

Hi all! Hoping for some advice regarding authentication. There is a black leather julianne I would like to purchase and I'm wondering if there are any red flags to look for that are specific for this bag? I am aware of some things to look for, but wanted to know if there are any specifics.
Thanks so much!

Every item has to be analyzed individually. Please post links to or photos of the bag as set out in post number 1 in this thread, thanks.

I am not sure this is authentic if its fake its a good one. I know the zippers are not a tell all sign that Coach products are real or not however, I called Coach Directly and asked if " Ideal" zippers are used. The lady laughed at me when I asked. I have read different blogs that individuals posted saying they bought a Coach handbag from a factory outlet with ideal zippers so I just need some help. I bought this handbag from an individual that insisted it was bought from a factory outlet.

Several forum members have also posted here that the bags they recently bought at various Coach Outlets had Ideal Zippers. A quick Search of the combined Coach forums using "ideal zipper" as the Search term would have brought up thirty posts.

The first post in this thread that explains the Rules of this forum also strongly suggests using the Search feature before posting a question since there's a good chance many questions have already been answered.

Well, I was reading an article about how the "C" pattern is always in two... also, the fabric on the bottom is not perfectly lined up.

Stop reading those articles.

Except for "Coach has never made bags in Korea" there's no such thing as "never" or "always" with Coach. Most articles or "authenticity guides" are as dependable as Lindsay Lohan.
