I assume you're asking about the one above?:smile1:

It appears to be an authentic "Basic Bag" and it's probably OK - but it's from the late 1980's - 1993 and NOT from the 1970's.

That seller really needs to learn to take some better pictures AND write a description. There aren't even any measurements!

They gave me measurements via email along with the picture, but yeah the listing is pretty bare. Thanks!

Any definite answer as to whether the bag is ok or not? I don't care too much if it's not as old as they say (it's for my mom and she doesn't care), but I do care about authenticity. If there are doubts I will retract my bid. Thanks.

I can't be 100% sure nor can I give a guarantee of authenticity with one blurry picture of a bag and a creed photo.

It "looks" like a Basic Bag and if the measurements are the same as the one pictured below - it's probably OK.

That's the best I can do. You should wait for other opinions.

Hi
I hope I am in the right place. I am new to this
I came across this coach bag at an estate sale, I did not notice till I got home that it had cut stamp in the front slip pocket leather, it has B01 stamp cut in the leather. everything else about this bag looks good. could this have been "one that got thru" in the irregular world.
Thanks

Hi. Thanks, again. I will wait for other opinions. The bid has plenty of time left. The dimensions they gave me were 9"x7"x2", I believe. It definitely looks like a basic bag to me...

It's probably genuine, I can't be 100 percent sure since that creed prefix has also been used on fakes. The basic details of the bag look ok but I have no idea what the BO1 stamp means.

More opinions are welcome.

Hi there!

I am not sure how old this fob is - does anyone know if it would possibly still be around at any outlet stores? Or is it like years old and I just never noticed it?

Anyhow - I'm OBSESSED with pigs and love this key fob - is it authentic?

Thanks!

I don't see any problem with the keychain.

I think that style is from late 2010 or early 2011 so there's no reason it shouldn't be in the outlets. A Search of all Coach forums here show posts from July stating the Pig Keychain was at the Outlets at that time. Often using the Forums' Search link will give you your answer.

I agree with DemRam.

Also, you need to realize that all we're doing is giving opinions about authenticity, and those opinions can ONLY be based on our personal experience and the information in front of us. We don't guarantee that we're always right - we CAN'T. Basing an infallible opinion on just a few photos is asking for more than we're capable of doing with what little information we have available. The final decisions always belongs to the buyers, and the buyers also need to examine the bag when they receive it.

For cleaning advice, please check the main Coach forum - use the Search feature to narrow the possible responses, such as whether the item is fabric or leather, and what kind. There are hundreds of posts there about cleaning Coach items. The Rehab and Rescue thread alone has a wealth of information about washing Coach items.

I don't know for sure but I seem to recall a TPF discussion about unusual numbers found stamped into bags. It was suggested that this is a lot number for the leather used in the bag. That section is not supposed to be used when making bags but occasionally it sneaks past quality control. I am not 100% certain but that came to my mind when I saw your photos.

Thanks. I understand. I did ask for a picture of the overall bag that is not so blurry..

I tend to think they're gone from the outlets ATM also because there aren't a lot of them on ebay or Bonz. Generally, when the auction/selling sites are flooded, that indicates that they're at the outlets.
