Although DemRam has commented on the bag in question, I have a couple of comments on the seller.

Personally, I wouldn't do business with lvkate. Firstly, the seller has been known to list fakes, although generally she sells authentic. Secondly, she buys from other sellers for the purpose of flipping and bullies her sellers into issuing refunds or partial refunds for SNAD when she finds supposedly undisclosed "issues."

Here's a post where a Prada authenticator comments on a questionable Miu Miu she listed: http://forum.purseblog.com/prada/au...ead-post-1-first-617124-383.html#post18910904

This post comments on 2 of lvkate's Prada listings, one of which is authentic and one that's fake: http://forum.purseblog.com/prada/au...ead-post-1-first-617124-368.html#post18828241

And this post comments on lvkate's reputation: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-694619-129.html#post19890520
thank you. so much to keep track of -- authentic bags, trustworthy sellers; how do you gals keep up with everything??!! is there a list anywhere of sellers you recommend doing business with for those of us who don't know the 'good' from the 'maybe not to be trusted'?

Have been doing a number of authentication recently as I am newbie at ebay bidding and still learning how to bid successfully (in other words, my success rate is low :blushing:). Hopefully I can get this for my mother in law. Really appreciate the help offered by everyone here.

When seller IDs have been posted multiple times with "problems," those IDs tend to stick in your mind.

But the search function is a great tool once you figure out how to use it effectively. (Note that some seller IDs with special characters in the names don't come up in searches but for the most part, it's a helpful tool.)

Never mind.

Sheesh, my eyes ARE getting bad, I kept seeing 9841 when I looked at the creed. As long as it's actually 9541, it's ok - Soho Leather Small Hobo from 2003.

Don't feel bad. The angle of the creed and the way the light hits it, it does look like an 8. I agree that the bag is fine.

Comments: I'm not sure if this Coach is fake. Seller claims that she bought it at Macy's, but the Coach creed doesn't have a serial number! I have never seen a genuine Coach with a creed that didn't have a serial number. She said that the Coach bag came with a card, but that she can't find the card. I have attached a picture that she e-mailed to me of the creed tag. I don't have the purse yet (seller still has it). Thanks in advance!

I don't see any problem with the bag.

However, please be aware that this is considered a POUCH, not a handbag! It's very small, maybe only about 9 inches by 5 or six, and the strap is also short and may not fit comfortably on many womens' shoulders, especially now that it's winter and many of us are wearing heavier clothes and coats. The strap drop is probably only 6 or 7 inches at the most.

BTW, cards that supposedly come with Coach items don't prove a thing about authenticity - any crooked fakes manufacturer can print or buy fake cards and price tags and almost all of them do.

The seller doesn't give any measurements in the listing, which to me is deceptive when it's a small accessory bag that's being sold. Pouches, Demis, Swingpacks and other small bags are considered Accessories by Coach and they may or may NOT have creeds or serial numbers.
