It may be a very early production version but it's not fake from what I can see, I'm not sure why you think it's fake. If you're not interested in bidding, there's no need to ask for more photos, but please read my Ebay Guide to Coach's Italian-made bags.

The green one is also genuine, I think the name is Geometric Bag.

Please check here before reporting any classic or vintage leather bags, they're much harder to authenticate because the serial number and creed stamp is much more important.

Well, isn't that awesome! I thought the whole business with the serial number was highly suspicious! I may ask the seller for a clear picture of the creed and, if you still think it's authentic, actually bid on this bag.

I post everything here before I report any item, even the ridiculous ones! And, like this, I'm always learning something new!

i've only ever seen this ashley with silver hardware, does coach make the same bag with different colored hardware? because this one has gold hardware. thanks! :)

If no one answers, try asking at the main Coach forum. They're much more familiar with things like hardware colors especially with newer bags. Then if they tell you that gold hardware wasn't made, come back here and we can try and report it.

I also found another one exactly like it on ebay but it had the zipper pull inside the bag with paper taped around it. I can't find the listing anymore and I didn't save it unfortunately. Does coach do that with zipper pulls? I know that when I buy a Betsey Johnson bag or wallet the zipper pulls are taped with paper to prevent scratching.

I don't see a creed pic, but before I ask for one do these bags have them? The photo looking into the bag doesn't look like there is a creed there and I don't know anything about new bags. I don't want to come off as a dumba$$ asking for a creed pic for a bag that doesn't have one LOL!

This one is genuine, but not vintage since it was made in 2001. "Vintage" in handbags is usually defined as 20 years old or more.

Bags often come from the manufacturer with the zipper pulls, key rings, and other hardware wrapped lightly in tissue or foam sheeting. When they put them on display in the stores, the protective materials are removed.

I'm not familiar with whether this actual bag has a creed or not. It's a smaller item so it's very possible that there isn't one but it certainly wouldn't be a "dumba$$ question" to ask!

I don't see any obvious red flags in the lisitng.

The listing doesn't have adequate pictures. We need to see a full picture of the creed showing the whole creed with stitching on all sides. Additional pictures are needed showing a clear closeup of the horse and carriage plaque, the rivets and hardware on the handles where they attach to the bag, all the hangtags and the top of the long strap.

Another concern is that being a used bag, the seller doesn't describe the extent of use. A previous neg she received for a used wallet implies that the condition wasn't accurately described.

#2: Impossible to tell with ebay's "wonderful" new improvement where you can't see an enlarged picture nor other photos that might have been in the listing.

Louisvuitton101, unfortunately, #3 is NOT authentic.

That listing did show the addiitonal pictures and they show a fake bag.
