Thankyou so much!

All look genuine. The third one is a Compartment Bag Spectator from around 1990.

I can't help with names for small items like coin pouches and purse accessories, sorry. Most of them would just be called a leather or suede whatever.

I won this nylon Hamptons Hobo, and it just arrived today. I know that the nylon sometimes gets wrinkly on these bags, so I wasn't expecting perfection, but the entire bag is STICKY, so much so that it was stuck into the mailer when I pulled it out. I tried mild soap and water, but it's still really, really sticky. I do see what might be glue seepage around the seams, but it's hard to be sure because the bag is black.

The bag was purchased for my mom, but I don't feel it's wearable as is. I searched the forum and found that the older nylon bags had glue issues. (eeek). The problem was not listed in the auction. What do you think I should do? TIA.

Contact the seller and file a SNAD claim. Save the mailer.

Did you bid on that bag with just that one photo?

Thank you in advance! (I will attach photos but the same photos will be on the link)

I'm updating a previous request with pictures of the creed. Thanks in advance for looking at this for me!

It looks like you've already bought it. There's a reason we tell members to never buy bags unless the seller shows a clear photo of the creed.

One of the production codes in the serial number is missing, and it hasn't just been mis-stamped. Also it looks like there are extra digits barely showing right before and after the deeper-stamped serial.

Sorry, that's not a genuine Coach serial number. It's a very remote possibility that something with that major of a mistake would have been passed by Coach's Quality Control but the spacing of the digits should be different if it was just a production mistake. There's no way I can authenticate that bag.

Thanks, Hyacinth! That's what I was afraid of. I had purchased it before I really came in here and realized that people faked "vintage" coach bags. My mistake because I thought only newer/signature bags were faked. I think the faint "digits" on either side of the serial number aren't really digits but more an imprint of whatever was used to stamp the serial number onto the bag. That doesn't really matter though if the serial number itself is a fake. Thank you for taking the time to look at it.

Everything looks okay except the creed.. somehow the spacing seems off to me.. Aren't there supposed to be margins on the side?
The creed looks fine for bags that were made in that same plant and same month and year.

Here's another listing for the same style with the identical prefix, F1093. The spacing and margins are identical.

Sometimes, you'll see differences depending on when and where the item was made. When comparing, you have to compare apples to apples --- same month, same year, same plant, same style.

This one also..

This one looks better.. creed looks good.. only thing that bothers me is in the last pic the brass looks kinda weird.. hope I get a reply on this one the auction ends soon lol

Although the same style bag, this one wasn't made in June, 2010 in plant 93.

Instead, it was made 2 months later (August, 2010) in another plant, #69. So there are differences.

If it is indeed authentic could anyone please let me know what year it came into circulation as well as what a fair resale price would be for this small but cute purse? Thank you.

I also received a photo of the creed via email, but yes just the photo, so I guess I learned my lesson this time. Always ask for more photos :-/.

I already cleaned it up a bit (I probably shouldn't have done that before filing anything), but it's still super sticky. I feel so bad filing anything against the seller, but I guess I have no choice this time.
