Looks fine to me.

I was wondering if anyone could help with this...I hope this is the right place to ask.
Is there anyway to remove the bow that is attached to the Ocelot Haircalf items with red suede trim from a few years ago? That bow looks immensely Christmas-y to me, and I was wondering if it can be removed without damaging the bag.

For reference:

I'm pretty sure those bows are just tacked on with a few loops of thread. If you have a pair of embroidery scissors or cuticle scissors, you can pull back the bow and snip the threads.

Thanks for that additional information; I've been learning so much. Speaking of older style bags/ serial numbers, I keep seeing this rounded, flap over bag with a buckle fastener in "vintage" listings. I'm wondering whether or not this is an legitimate, older style bag or not. It's usually described as a saddle bag (but based on what I've researched around the forums, I'm feeling that the name is inaccurate): http://www.ebay.com/itm/160655639574?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

There's nothing wrong with it. It's called a Riding Bag and that style is genuine AND vintage.
