Comments: I bought the bag already. Looks a real and good quality bag. The only thing is about the dust bag. It's white with a logo I never saw before and the printing does not look as good as old Coach dust bag. I borrowed a image online here.

Comments: This older bag measures 11" long by 7" height and 3" deep. It has the brass D rings and double strap with drop of approx 20 inches. The inside zipper is silver ~ to me it looks correct but do you think it was replaced?

1- seems to be a genuine Convertible Clutch from the mid-70s, maybe both the zipper and strap were replaced. It's almost impossible to try and guess what might have been done to such old purses.

2- Collegiate Bag, around 1987

3- seems ok

4- genuine

5- don't know, some sort of early Hamptons or Legacy style. Try calling Coach.

6- Hamptons Leather Flap

2- genuine Terrace Bag style 4417 from the Lightweights line around 1989

3- Legacy Small Hobe from 2000

Thank you, Hyacinth. I re-read the Guide yet again & found that info - I don't know how I passed right over it, without it sinking in, so many times!

So in this case, is the "2" a designation for a plant in Turkey?

Exactly! Turkey has 2 oddball plant codes, "2" and the letter "I" so serial numbers from the Turkish plants can lead to a lot of confusion.

The bag is authentic. It's a rugby stripe leather duffle. (I'm not sure if the the actual official Coach name.)
