It's authentic but unless I'm mistaken, I think the seller copied the style number wrong. I think it should be 7076. Please verify with the seller.

(It's possible that Coach made similar bags in two sizes, but I don't think that's the case here.)

CORRECTION to my previous post:

Coach did make a smaller version of the 7076 flap bag and the style number was 7075.

The seller probably did get the style number correct.

Again, the listing is authentic.

Hello again ladies. I forgot to thank you for my last authentication note. Thanks!!!

I purchased this bag and just received it. There's something about it that makes me doubt it, but I can't articulate what makes me feel that way. I searched the forum for the serial number and the seller, but no matches, so that's a good sign. The leather isn't super supple for an older bag, but it's shiny-ish. The seller may have used the usual Coach "conditioner" on it, but... I may just be crazy - unfortunately a totally viable option! But I intended to give this as a gift, so... Can you please help? Age? Model?

Also, some more photos of the creed, the handle, and the rivet under the buckle. I think it was the rivet that struck me as odd.

Could someone be so kind as to look at this "peace" keyfob that may or may not be a Coach? It looked silver on e-Bay and once it arrived, it is gold tone and the hang tag is real thin and says made in china on the back! I have many other Coach fobs and they are all nickel split rings and nickel hang tags or a combination of nickel and enamel.

I think it's a knock off, but wanted some opinions of others before I file with e-Bay...thanks all!

Coach made 2 Peace Keyfobs with brass hardware. I can't tell if yours is ok without seeing the back of it though. The hangtags usually do say made in China. If yours is genuine it would have to be the first one, 92153 but we need to see the back.

BTW, the listing number would be a big help. In the future, please use the format requested in Post 1 as it helps us track shady sellers and repeat listings of fake items. Thanks!

It looks like a Legacy West Small Hobo and matches the photos I have. Not all Coach leather and hardware is going to be the same as Coach's other styles, and the same goes for the rivet.

I've never had one for comparison but it seems ok to me.

Thanks for your response! I will use that format if I ever have another question....I have added a few more photos of the back and the hang tag to the link from the original posting....and here is the original e-bay listing:

Hyacinth is correct with the first picture. The fob you bought is 92153 and it's got brass hardware, blue on one side and pink on the other.

Your keychain is authentic.

Thanks, BB! I reported it last night, but it is still there. I'm going to post it in the fakes thread now.
Hi,
I read in an online article about authenticity of bags that the Willis Bag before 1990 didn't have the 9927 identifying model number on it.
Which bags are generally found with the fake serial number 012-3445? I just found that number on a list of fake serial numbers. That number seems to come out of nowhere in relation to all of the other fake serial numbers listed (lots of H4Bs, etc but just one starting in 012).
Also, I've seen a lot of badly made fakes ~ usually more than anything it seems they skimp badly on the quality of the leather. The one that was in question here looked like quality leather. Are there actually some counterfeiters who come close to the Coach leather quality?
Sorry for the long, quick reply. Thank you for your help!:smile1:
