Thanks!

Correcting my previous post - it sure looks like the fabric on yours is wrong, the Cs are too large. The stitching on the creed doesn't look right either. The other ones for sale on Ebay show the same mini Cs:

Thank you so much for your time, BeenBurned. I truly do appreciate the details you included. It is very helpful, especially for a completely inexperienced buyer in this arena. I will send a message to the seller to see if I can obtain a photo of the creed as well. I just have to decide if the smaller version (15409) is one I will be satisfied with. I just love this bag and I absolutely adore the color. Kicking myself for not ordering it last year!
You're welcome.

I bought this used but I'm not sure if it's real. I have another bag from years ago and now I'm not sure about it either. I got it as a gift from my mom so I've always kept it. If it's fake, then she got fooled too. Anyway, I'm wondering if this one is real. Thanks :D

Here's what the Coach photos show:
I agree. The bag is fake.

In fact, the full serial number J3J-6818 seems to be another that should be added to the fake serial number thread.

Here's another post from the past for a different style bag with that same serial number: http://forum.purseblog.com/authenticate-this/coach-j3j-6818-help-autheticating-544216.html

And in this listing, the bag on the far right has the same serial number:

It's already there, Post 550:
The following numbers often show up on fakes, be careful:

J3J-6818 - belongs to a Soho mini sig flap bag but has shown up on fakes in other styles and on fake Flap Bags

That's one of those sneaky ones that had so many different style creeds that it's easy to get confused. There's at least one more fake in the list of 6818's currently listed too, # 120770002300. Please report.

The "free" bag in the center is fake too.

Oops. You beat me to it!

And I just edited my post above to add a current listing that includes a bag with the fake number.

Wow, ok yea add it to the fake serial thread then. I've come across obvious fakes before but this one is really well made . Thanks ladies. I've always loved Coach and this fake-spotting has been educational and kinda fun!

The first one looks like a genuine Compartment Bag from the late 1980s.

The second looks like a genuine Pocket Purse from the same time period.

The third one is probably a Dinky Bag, early 1990s.

They all look ok but closer photos of the creeds would help.
