It looks ok, I haven't seen the small brass Coach buttons before but I've only owned two pieces from the Business or Travel lines. The rest of the hardware looks ok and I've found identical pieces in photos of other briefcases from 1997 including the ones on the strap ends. Also Coach reshaped their briefcase turnlocks for about 2 years from late 1996 thru late 1998 and this briefcase has exactly the right turnlock, and the creed stamp is genuine too.

Was there another piece of hardware you were wondering about?

It appears to be okay.

I see a wonky stitch on the creed but there's nothing that indicates that the bag isn't authentic.

No, that's a nasty cheap fake. The rectangular box is a huge red flag but there are a lot of other problems too. Please report ALL seller bestbuyer062008 Completed and VERY fake keychains.

Unfortunately, bestbuyer062008 has ripped off a lot of buyers based on the number of "Coach" keychains in her feedback:

BB, thanks for helping to fix my link to the listing and also in authenticating the bag. Looks like I still have a long, long, long way to go in telling the difference. The reason I thought it was not the real deal is because I saw the same bag model sold by another seller has its creed sewn in black threads. However, I realized now that the pic of the creed is not for the 13084 bag as it depicts a different creed#. I should have checked properly first before posting it here for authentication. So sorry for my blunder:shame:

I own a consignment store, and up until now have only had Coach shoes come in, all I've been able to easily authenticate by searching for the styles online.

I got in 2 bags the other day and have had a hard time authenticating them, and without being 100% positive that they are authentic, I refuse to sell them. I've looked through a bunch of the tips here to help me decide if they are real, but a couple things that bother me... one of them, the stamped leather creed inside (The tan one, not the red one), you can't read what it says, like the imprint has come out almost, or it wasn't stamped hard enough? The other problem with the other bag is that from what I've seen the double C's should make a broken infinity sign (sideways 8) however, it's a patchwork style and one of the fabrics used, they are completely connected. I haven't seen anywhere where that was mentioned?

I tried to get some good overall photos as well as close up photos of some of the details on the fabrics, hardware, stitching, creeds, etc. If you need anything else just let me know!

If you happen to know what they retail for (assuming they are authentic) that would be helpful too :)

I appreciate any information you can give me!
