BB, that pull is used on Sequin Spotlights and other Poppy bags. I do not think I have ever seen it on a Mad bag. Sure, it could be a fix up...
But what about the tag? That is not supposed to be there. AND, the zipper pull for the pocket inside should be patent leather, not regular leather. It's supposed to match the exterior trim, like the creed does.

I don't have the bag here, but I'm 99.9% positive that the inner zipper pull is the same patent leather as the creed and the handles, strap, etc.

With the exception of the "made in China" tag and the "Poppy" pull, every inch of this bag feels, smells, and looks genuine. I'm OK with with a slightly bizarre "defect", but I was curious to find out other opinions.

Comments: Impulsively and foolishly I purchased this item. Note the zipper pull...Sophia is supposed to have a leather pull, to my knowledge. There is also a "made in China" small black tag on the inside with white letters, which my other Sophia doesn't have. (I know, means nothing but it's additional details). Hangtags removed; wondering if the pull was pirated as well.

And I just checked out a cobalt and a teal and there is no tag inside the bag. The fakes have a "Coach <3 Poppy" tag inside, but I cannot see that part of the tag.

I'm not familiar enough with the style to do a side by side comparison but I don't see any obvious red flags concerning authenticity.

It appears that the seller may buy overstock and customer returns and this may have been such an item. For a long time, I've suspected that customers buy bags and return them sans hangtags and charms and that might be the reason for the missing hangtags.

Please wait for other opinions on the zipper pull and bag.

I don't have the actual bag to compare but I do know there are "good" fakes around. It's possible that this is one of them.

I'd love to hear from someone who has the bag to compare. I agree that the texture of the creed doesn't appear to match the exterior trim's texture.

Have you received the bag yet? Can you take pictures of the brown tag (both sides)?

Yes, the tag is in a few of the dotteds...but Coach didn't put them in others. That is why it is SO confusing.

For example, I own the teal dotted, Zebra, and purple gathered sophias. The teal is the only one with a tag inside. My silver dotted convert hobo does not have one either. Just the teal has one.

A friend has this for sale, it was a gift so she doesn't know where it was purchased. Just want to get it authenticated before I pay for it.

Please wait for other opinions on the seller. My concern is unless the seller has a previous history on another ID, I wonder why, all of a sudden, a new seller has so many designer item listings with such professional presentation.
