Is this bag authentic?

Item: Vintage Coach Bag

I am pretty sure it is. I received it today and it is in great shape. Does anybody know the proper name for this bag? Thank You - Any and all information is greatly appreciated. : )

It looks like the Watermelon Tote pictured below. I can't read the serial number so it's hard to make a guess about the age. I have that same bag and mine looks like the one in the picture, with the brass around the kiss lock.

Is this authentic? Thanks!! :)

I dont know if it helps, but i think the seller bought the coach bag at ebay from alliebubba0. I have attached his feedback link here: http://feedback.ebay.com.sg/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=alliebubba0&ftab=AllFeedback
It's probably okay although a few other pictures including a picture of the creed should be shown.

I have comments about the Singapore seller's pictures and description.

1. Description states that tag and care card are missing yet photo shows the tag attached. You might want to verify that two of the pictures are the actual item. (The third photo showing the lining of the open bag came from the original seller's listing.)
2. The seller copied and pasted the description from the original seller. It's possible that the original seller gave permission to use her text but generally, sellers should do their own work.)
3. I'm not concerned that the pattern placement differs from original listing. The original seller sold more than one bag of the same style and used the same pictures in both listings.

Please request a clear closeup of the creed as well as questioning the existence/lack of the price tag.

Thank You DemRam -- Mine has the leather covered frame. The serial number is: 813 - 8333. It also has a little drawstring bag with the hang tag, and a couple of "about COACH leather" items.

You're welcome. With that serial number, yours is probably from the later 1970's - mid 1980's, though that's just a guess on my part. If it was made in New York City that's even better, especially if you are selling. People still search for those old ones.

(Personally, I like the leather covered kiss lock frame much better than the plain brass).

Can someone please authenticate this Coach bag for me?

This bag belongs to a friend of mine and she has been wondering if it's an authentic one or not. One thing looks odd to me is the hardware button of the bag handle that is missing a Coach est.1941 engrave. I've seen this such stamp on all hardwares except the handle. The same style bag in a white color has it but another one in black color that is on sale on the ebay (trusted seller) has the same issue as mine.

Is it possible that Coach would do thing differently on the same bag in a different color????

Thank you in advance for all response and comment.

Comments: I asked about another of this seller's listings over the weekend because I was interested in the handbag and not because of the claim to be celebrity owned. What about this handbag? Was this style made with the legacy lining as a limited edition bag? What are your thoughts about this one being authentic? Thanks for your help.

I don't know if this was a limited edition, but the details look correct.

The bag is authentic. I'm not sure which hardware button you're referring to, but I can see in your pics that there are several buttons engraved with Coach est.1941.

The bag looks fine.

This turnlock isn't supposed to have the Coach name on it.

Generally, the more engraved hardware on a bag, the more likely it is to be fake. The counterfeiters often stamp everything with "Coach."
